Brynn had always been intrigued by the humans as they wandered the city, unaware of her presence. "Always" isn't really the correct term because she hadn't "always" been what she is. For nearly 200 years, she had roamed this city, preying on their kind while still being intrigued. She was one of the undead....a vampire.

She was not alone in this city. There were gangs of vampires roaming and creating chaos in the city. She didn't shun all of her kind, but she strayed away from them always knowing that she was different from them. She was more powerful than all of the others and they feared her.

Brynn spent most of her nights prowling along the tops of building, watching those humans that were brave enought to walk the streets at night. The wind blew her long, raven hair as she perched on the corner of the tallest building in town. Her body stiffened as she sniffed the wind and whispered to herself, "Something's not right." She sniffed the wind once more before saying, "Something's different...powerful." Her crystal blue eyes brightened as she scanned the city from her perch.

"Human? Or vampire?" She stood along the edge of the roof as she heard commotion coming from the east. She ran cat-like along the roof, leaping along the skyline toward the sound.

She leaped down from the tall building, landing perfectly on her feet. She scanned the alleyway, her eyes growing brighter as the scent was becoming stronger.

"And you must be the hotshot.....very beautiful." She turned quickly to face the familiar voice. The figure emerged from the darkness and said, "Shame that I'll probably have to kill you."

((So I need my male lead. You can create the history between the two and the reason for his presence in the city.))

Alexi

Alexi watched as Brynn jumped from rooftop to rooftop, getting closer and closer, she ofcourse didn't know that she was headed straight toward him, but every so often she would stop and look around, the wind blowing her long beautiful hair around in the wind; and she was beautiful indeed, her form was perfect, although partially obscured by the long trenchcoat that she was wearing. She had always been beautiful, even since he had turned she ahd beauitufl then, Alexi often wondered to himself if that was why he had turned her, but what wa really strange was the fact that Alexi was here now anyway, he had never been to this city in 200 years, not since he had turned her, but now he was back, and the first one he would meet should be none other than his own thrall.

Brynn jumped down onto the rooftop directly infornt of Alexi, he smiled to himself and stepped out from the shoulders, her neck snapped towards him, gazing at him as he spoke softly, but his voice carried in the wind, reaching Brynn's ears easily.

"And you must be the hotshot.....very beautiful. Shame that I'll probably have to kill you." She crouched slighty, instinctively ready for a fight, she bared her teeth. I laughed out loud, my hands akimbo on my hips, my teeth glinting in the moonlight, my long blonde hair flapping in the wind to contrast Brynn's own dark black hair.

"Oh I never said I wanted to, only if you fight me, why would I want to kill my own brood?" She gasped at me, when she recognised me, looking me deep in the eye to see if it was true

"I have not see you in a long time, not since I turned you, but what a coincindence I should meet the most beautiful of my brood in this city" I leaned against the wall behind me as if this was just a casual conversation between two acquaintances, rather than a dark, tense one between vampire and her creator

Brynn had readied herself for attack, her crystal blue eyes glowing in the darkness. No one had ever challenged her and carried on to tell about it another day.

"Oh I never said I wanted to, only if you fight me, why would I want to kill my own brood?"

His own brood? She thought for a moment before gasping in surprise. Her attack position eased as she scanned his face for confirmation. It had been a while and she wasn't about to be tricked by some lowly alleyway vamp.

"I have not see you in a long time, not since I turned you, but what a coincindence I should meet the most beautiful of my brood in this city." He leaned against the wall, obviously feeling at ease in his position. He obviously didn't fear her so his words must be true or he is a complete idiot.

She stood more at ease, but ever watchful for any offensive move on his part. Her eyes still glowing, she remarked forcibly, "Well...it is my city. I guess a good question would be, what are you doing in it?"

"Well...it is my city. I guess a good question would be, what are you doing in it?" Alexi laughed and stood up from the wall, she crouched again just incase this was going to be an attack on his part, but he waved my hand dismissively, knowing that he could have killed her quite easily, not necessarily because he was more powerful, he suspected that over the years she had become quite powerful, but because all vampires were subservient to their creators, it was in the blood, and that was what a vampire was, a vampire couldn't disobey its blood, so a fight would never happened, but if she tried she would fail and he would have to kill her. Obey the blood.... he thoguht bitterly now....that was the whole damned reason he was here

"That is a good question..." Alexi stopped suddenly and gazed at Brynn as though trying to read something far away "...Brynn" He smiled at how ironic it was he had never bothered to discover the name of his most powerful beautiful brood before.

"I actually don't qute know why I am here, I have felt something calling, something different that shouldn't be here. It will be a threat to vampires I can sense it," She looked at me quizzically "I know it will be a threat, because when you have lived as long as I have, anything that calls to you that seems so different is usually a threat to our entire race" Alexi smiled and walked casually over to Brynn as though he didn't need permission to be near her, which he didn't, he do what he wanted, but she that wouldn't mean she had to be happy with it, so Alexi preferred to try and earn her trust and amiability first.

"That is a good question...Brynn." He looked at her strangely as if he was amused by her name. She tensed up as he moved in front of her, but he dismissed the idea of a fight. She thought to herself, "If he thinks I won't rip his throat out, he is sadly mistaken."

She moved with him, keeping him in a frontal view. At this point, her body was tense and she moved slowly, watching him closely.

"I actually don't qute know why I am here, I have felt something calling, something different that shouldn't be here. It will be a threat to vampires I can sense it." He continued as he sensed her confusion. "I know it will be a threat, because when you have lived as long as I have, anything that calls to you that seems so different is usually a threat to our entire race." He began to move close to her slowly as though approaching a dog with a history of biting.

She stood toe to toe with him as he reached her. She looked him in the eyes, not at all threatened by his invasion into her space. Her eyes still glowing, she asked, "And you think you can stop whatever it is?" She stepped back and walked slowly around him, saying, "I've sensed it's power. It's intoxicating as if it wants to draw me in. As powerful as you may think you are, you won't be able to stop it."

She leaped to roof ledge from the ground, landing in a crouched position.

"You're going to need help. I assume that's why you've been watching me."

Alexi jumped off the ledge, his toes pushing lightly off the ledge, if anyone else had tried all they would have succeeded in doing would be tripping and falling off the top building, but with a vmapire's agility this led to Alexi gliding from one rooftop to the next, landing deftly on the roof where Brynn had just landed, his footsteps not making any sound as he landed, walking ahead of her, then spinning around on his heel, to turn to her, throwing out his hand in a halt gesture, she stopped before she walked on, she didn't want to, I could tell, but she had little choice if I said halt to her. She gave me a disgruntled look, trying to look as though she had wanted to stop walking anyway

"We need each other's help, like I said this would be a threat to our entire race. It is intoxicating to you, it is intoxicating to me, it is an intoxicating to all of our kind, it is always a trap. And yes I have been watching you, though before I arrived back in the city I had not thought that you would still be here, but it is good."

He then turned and beckoned for her too follow, she looked annoyed that Alexi dared to tell her what to do, he assumed it was because Brynn did still acknowledge that he was the one who had turned all those years ago, so did still not acknowledge he had any control over her, but she followed any, probably curious as to where this was going

"We are going back to the penthouse in which I'm staying, we need somewhere safe to stay during the day and make our plans for what to do about this threat, whatever it is"

Brynn was getting a little annoyed by the control that he seemed to have over her and she wasn't exactly skipping to his penthouse so she was on his turf.

"You want me to feel safe in a penthouse when I have a fortress?" She pointed towards a mansion on the outside of the city. "I may stray away from my kind, but it doesn't mean they don't crave my attention. An offering, I suppose, from the gangs. They gave me a house and their promise of an army. If you intend to save our kind, it might be better to be where they are and not in a penthouse."

She gave him a satisfied look before gracefully leaping from roof to roof in the direction of the mansion. She would feel more comfortable on her turf and not couped up in a penthouse with him. It had been a while since she had someone around that could match her power and she didn't know what that would do to her if they were alone.

She reached the gates of her fortress, knowing that he was following close behind her. She placed her hand on a screen that scanned it and the gates open.

She turned as she heard him land behind her and smiled a toothy smile. "Welcome to my home." She led him up the path to the large doors, pushing them open.

Inside, there were vampires everywhere. Some were polishing weapons while others were feeding. The all stood up quickly as she entered the room, gripping their weapons as they noticed Alexi. She dismissed them and turned to Alexi, "Something to drink?" As she said this, a vampire displayed a tray with wine glasses of blood. She grabbed one for herself and made her way up the stairs. Once she reached the top, she said to a young female vampire, "Natalia, show our guest to a room and then show him to my office."

As Natalia led Alexi away, Brynn made her way to her office and slipped into her chair behind a large desk, propping her feet up on the desk and sipping her drink.

Meanwhile, Natalia lead Alexi to a very elaborately decorated bedroom at the end of a long corridor. She opened the doors and led him in. "I hope this room with be to your liking. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask." She stood there looking at him, mischeviously. She undoubtibly beautiful with auburn hair tied up loosely with pieces hanging down along her face. She was dressed in a black miniskirt and a blood red corset top. She smiled a toothy smile and said, "Anything at all."

Alexi was getting tired of Brynn constantly trying to prove herself and defy him, she was only a youngling who had not been through something like this before, but he went along with her, he didn't know why Brynn was so upset about following her brood leader, but he went along with it anyway. He glided along after her, jumping from rooftop to rooftop.

They came to the supposed "fortress" it was a masnion on the outskirts. Alexi almsot spat on the ground at this place stuck out like a sore thumb, it was almost begging to be attacked first by whatever this unknown force was, it was a concentration of vampires. He knew he had to plan to find a way to get him and brynn out of the mansion as soon as it was attacked, the other broods living in there could take care of themselves, that was the code of the vampires, blood looks after blood.

Once inside Brynn took a glass of blood from a vampire holding a tray of drinks, he took one look at it then dismissed the man, thinking that this was not fresh blood, it had to come straight from the human he thought. They ascended the stairs, at the top was another vampiress, also beautiful like Brynn, she wore a short miniskirt and blood red corset. Her name was Natalia, she shoewed me too my room after Brynn left suddenly to go to her office, he smiled at that though, like her office would do any good against the forthcoming attack.

Natalia showed him inside his room, it was a very nice room, it matched the style of his penthouse, but not the size, it was still very good though. Natalia spent a few minutes showing him the stuff in the room, spending more time lingering as if she wanted something.

"I hope this room is to your liking, if there is anything you want, just ask" She took a deep breath and moved even closer to Alexi, smiling a toothy smile "Anything at all" She added with a sultry whisper. He smiled and draped an arm around Natalie's waist, pulling her in close, she smiled up at him, while Alexi looked over her body again. There was enough time for some pleasure He thought to himself

"I can think of a few things I'd like....like you Natalie" He bared his teeth, his canine's glinting in the light as he moved his mouth down her neck, trailing the points of his teeth down her neck.

Natalia leaned her head back as he slid his teeth along her neck. To a vampire, that was almost orgasmic in itself. She let out a gasp and bit her lip, drawing a little blood.

She licked the blood off of her lip as his eyes met hers. She kissed him softly, letting the blood from her lips tranfer to his.

She smiled and slowly began to push him towards the bed. She pushed him down on the bed and straddled his lap, letting her skirt ride up her legs. She kissed his lips then trailed kisses down his neck before nibbling and pulling at his skin with her teeth.

She whispered seductively, "So you made Brynn? Do you like it as rough as she does?"

Alexi grinned up at Natalie as she straddled him, her mini-skirt riding up her thighs, showing her smooth pale flesh, she leaned down and began kissing and nibbling at his neck, he responded by running his hands up her bare thighs, tracing the insides of her legs, running his hands beneath the skirt, but teasingly avoiding her crotch, she continued to kiss and then looked up at him, the same grin that he wore.

"So you made Brynn? Do you like it as rough as she does?" I almost laughed as I realised that this meant that Natalie was one of Brynn's lovers, I assumed this meant that she had also made Natalie too

"Yes I did make her, a long time ago," I grinned and rolled us both over so that I kneeling between her legs, I moved my hands up, taking her arms and pinning htem to the table, lenaing down and dragging my teeth down her neck again, she shivered as I whispered

"You shall find out very soon, won't you?" I tehn stopped, feeling her pulsing blood inside her jugular, I opened my mouth, taking in a sharp breath, baring my fangs and then sinking them slowly into her neck, drinking the blood, tasting it and savouring it. She bucked against me, moaning into my ear, her loegs coming round and hooking themselves around my waist, pulling me in and holding me there, for me to drink from her.

Natalia moaned with pleasure as he sunk his teeth into her neck, wrapping her legs around him tightly. She ran her fingers through his hair with encouragement.

Suddenly, her eyes shot open, glowing blue fiercely. "Something's wrong. Evil is here." She pushed him off of her quickly, her neck healing immediately. She took off running out of the bedroom and down the corridor to Brynn's office. She could hear Alexi running after her.

When she reached Brynn's office, she pulled the doors open and gasped as a bright light sprung from the open doors, slinging her into the wall across from the office. She laid in a heap on the floor, trying to come to her feet.

Suddenly, a group of armed vampires ran past Alexi and Natalia into the office. They all stopped in shock when they saw Brynn floating in a pool of light above her desk. Her skin glowed in the light as she floated there with her eyes closed. Like she was thrown, Brynn suddenly is slung lifelessly to the ground. She lays there motionless as the group of vampires moved towards their fallen leader.

As quickly as she had fallen, she sprung up from the ground as a bright light blew the gathered vampires away from her. She landed in an crouch on her desk, eyes glowing red.

She stared at Alexi very intently as if she could see through him. Natalia had rose from the ground and slowly walked over to Alexi, keeping her eyes on the animal-like Brynn. "What happened to her?"
