If you're a cat lover and need a reason to visit Vienna, here it is:

VIENNA (AP) - Would you like a cat with your coffee? If so, Vienna's newest coffee house is the place to go.

Five cats roam freely in Cafe Neko, ready to be stroked and cuddled - and when they are tired of all the attention, they can disappear into their own space or climb high above the tables, out of reach of the guests.

I wonder what the health department would say about cats overhead in a restaurant. But then again it is Vienna. Old world charm and all that.

That was one thing that surprised me when I was in france, people took their pets everywhere!

Everyone has the iconic image of someone sitting outside at a restaurant with a dog at their feet, but people brought their dogs into shops, indoor malls, and even subway stations.

Likewise in Germany when I was last there, but that was ten years ago. I don't remember whether the same held true in Ireland (Northern or the Republic), but it's been a while since I was there. And Austria? That was almost thirty years ago. However, any place that loves having lots of pussies around is fine with me.
