What does my selection say about me? Besides the fact that I need to get a life.

-The Secret Garden (Warner Bros 1994 version with Kate Maberly)

-The Three Musketeers (Disney version with Chris O'Donnell)

-Tombstone (Was Val Kilmer great or what)

-Hunt For Red October (Sean Connery)

-Father Goose (Anybody else know this movie?)

I saw

Panic. William H. Macy plays a TERRIFIC hitman that has just killed to many people, and wants to quit the business. The problem is, his father wouldn't approve. Solution? The hitman goes to a shrink. The supporting cast is AMAZING!!!!!! Especially Donald Sutherland, who plays the dad. Like "The Sapronos." But, in my opinion, that's one of the best new shows on television.

Val Kilmer was great-one of my favorite performances by him.

We saw Castaway-never got around to seeing it in the theater. It was ok. I hated the ending-aaarrrrg!

An Aside:

Is there anything that hasn't happened to Tom Hanks? He's been gay-with AIDS mind you, a woman, a soldier,a child trapped in a man's body, in love with a mermaid, stranded on remote island, constantly in love with Meg Ryan, an astronaut-I think I can't remember the title of that one, a boy band manager, a special needs guy that got into everything from Vietnam to shrimping,.. I tell you what's next for the guy?

Saw Legally Blonde this weekend at the movies-cute movie.

That we don't frequent the same aisles in the video store. I haven't seen any of those. :p

It actually says you have good taste!

I never saw the movie but The Secret Garden was one of my favorite books as a child.

I love every remake and incarnation of The Three Musketeers. Tombstone and Red October were great action/thrillers.

And Father Goose. Ahhhh anything with Cary Grant is wonderful.

Next time try renting Operation Petticoat (silly fun) or Charade - a murder mystery/romance. I can bring the popcorn. :)

Barney, Barney, the Wiggles, Barney, the Wiggles, Barney, Braveheart, Barney, the wiggles, The Blade, Barney, Barney again, the Wiggles, again, some more of Braveheart, Barney, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Wiggles, some more Braveheart, Barney...

I can't help it. I am really beginning to dislike purple dinosaurs, little kids, and grown Aussie men who are in a band but do not act like AC/DC!

I own Charade and Operation Petticoat is one of my all time favorites. I will have to rent that for this upcoming weekend.

Down Periscope with Kelsey Grammer is sort of a modern day version of it.

I agree with Barb

I LOVE Cary Grant. But not for his body. I just think he's one of the greatest actor's of yesterday. I LOVED Bringing Up Baby and North By Northwest. The scene where he's talking to his Mom drunk is an absolute RIOT!!!!!! He was also good in To Catch A Thief.

nasty, all of those are wonderful movies. He was so.....suave!

tony_gam, I bet you also like Philadelphia Story and Arsenic and Old Lace and The Bishop's Wife. As I said, you can't go wrong with any of his movies.

Arsenic and Old Lace I also own. It is so so good. Bringing up baby is another of his I love.

Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer?

The fact you frequent this board yet watch such films means you have eclectic taste. I, too, have seen each of those films and enjoyed them.:D

We seem to watch alot of Pokemon, Dragon Tales, and Barney here.
The Secret Garden (is this the one where the little girl helps the boy in the wheelchair?)...If so try watching The Little Princess.
The Hunt For Red October was excellent also. Although, I have this huge crush on Sean Connery, I think it's the accent, try watching Finding Forrester.
