Video porn

Was just reading CharleyH's thread on what makes porn good for women and suddenly realised that I have never ever seen a single porn video.

Never.

Can anyone else say this? Most people I know of seem to regard videos as the number one method of auto-erogenous arousal, but I've always gone to stories and my own imagination (sometimes both), then pictures as a second-best option. Never even considered videos.

I can believe that if you mean "video" but if you mean "movie", which can be in the form of a film, a video or a DVD, I would find it hard to believe since they are so widespread. There are some persons who have no interest in porn but you are obviously not one of them.

Free porn movies are widely available on the internet. If you go to the Lit home page there are links you can click onto where they show samples for free. They are just a few seconds long but are free and downloadable. I have some on my HD and sometimes watch them for inspiration when I am trying to write.

I've never sat down and watched a prono on the telly...via a video, dvd, adult channel. I do review porn sites..and so I watch clippets of porn on a regular basis. ninety odd percent of them do absoloutely nothing for me though.

Give me the written(or spoken*grins*) word any day...

Nope, no movies, no films, no motion pictures worse than 'Wild Things.' And I liked the plot of that.

Porn videos are overrated. Sex doesn't look half as interresting as it actually is. I have seen a handful of porn videos in my days, and the sight of naked bodies humping each other is not at all as arrousing as the idea of naked bodies humping each other. It most often ends up looking ridiculous more than sexy.

I'm with Liar. I've seen bits and one whole porn video that was not in the least arousing and mostly boring or laughable. However, there are moments in some great films, sans nudity or actual sex, that have aroused me. So, yeah, it's all in me head first.

I have to agree with you Perdita there, Earl, at least as far as being arousing. I think a good, hot, well-written story like we have so many of, is more arousing than a dirty movie. As I have heard so many times, the mind is the most important sex organ.

I actually like videos, but only once in a while and I am pretty particular about what I watch. Hubby has a little collection that I peruse when I am in the mood. I use the fast forward button a lot though... I don't like watching 10 minutes of the same shot... boring!

It's just another form of arousal when I am in the mood for something visual - then other times I would rather read or imagine.
