This is aimed at all the technogeeks out there. I'm trying to find a program that can convert Flash Video to Windows Media format. Why WMV? Because I've figured out that I can burn videos in wmv and my portable DVD player will play them.
My wife has become enamored with the anime yu gi oh and we found a source online for most of the episodes. The problem is they are a mix of wmv and flv files.
I have an open source converter called Super C, but it can't handle all forms of flv files. Apparently some flv files are encoded using the VP6 codec which Super C can't work with.
I tried downloading and converting a flv file from redtube to wmv and it constantly errors out. Super C will convert hundreds of formats, but apparently not this critical one.
Does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive converter that handles FLV to wmv?
