A dirty little secret no more.

You might remember seeing (and being completely disgusted by) a special Today that aired in 2010, which uncovered major retailers such as Gap, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, and Nordstrom placing used underwear back on the shelves for sale. Reporters followed up with the investigation this year, and unfortunately for Victoria's Secret, Wal-Mart, and Marshalls, not much has changed in the past four years.

What did people think they did with the underwear that gets returned because it didn't fit?

I always wash anything I buy before wearing. Even if I buy it shrink wrapped in the manufacturer's packing.

It all comes down to labeling. Properly labeled it is a commodity of a different nature.
