The idea of Mary Wollstonecraft starring in bondage, might be controversial to some. But it is not meant to be political. Rather seeing, such a strong, haughty Feminist dominated is more in the tradition of seeing a great Feminist Superheroine like Wonder Woman in bondage or Princess Leia of the Rebel Alliance chained up to Jabba. The background to this story will be Mary's relationship with Gilbert Imlay, an America scoundrel, con-artist and cad who seduced and abandoned her, leaving her pregnant. Mary wrote a whole book full of love letters begging him to come back. She even offered to live in a harem, with his actress mistresses. When she was rejected, she spent a night walking the rainy London bridge, and then jumped into the Thames, where she was fished out by a net.
I will have a background prologue of Mary and Imlay in a femsub relationship. Him humiliating her in public, tricking her into stripping at a Gentleman's club, walking her on a leash, and spanking the great Women's Rights icon.
The main focus of the story will be her march of shame after her failed suicide attempt. She was already past her breaking point of blackest despair, and her hell is only beginning. 18th century London was not so enlightened about mental health. They see suicide as attempted murder, a crime against God, mortal sin. And Mary Wollstonecraft is subjected to a humiliating public punishment.
Her dress is stripped off, as she is given CPR mouth to mouth. And she is paraded around London, in her soaked see-through Victorian lingerie. Laughing children pelt her with spoiled fruit. She is dragged through the muddy streets on a leash. This heroine of the French Revolution, is forced to kiss a muddy boot, and pledge loyalty to King George III.
