I've never owned a Vibrator Wand before, the thought of having one just simply excites me. I can't explain it. In the past I've read threads about woman owning one and speaking about how power it was and how they managed to make themselves squirt. I've never was able to have this happen to me, ever. Well speaking from experience...... Hands down, the Hitachi magic wand is what you are looking for. I found I can just leave it plugged in and under my bed and I never have to worry about charging it or changing batteries! Problem is that Hitachi stopped making them a few years ago. You CAN NOT buy anything like it anymore from Hitachi or from anyone else.

Any product claiming to be a "Hitachi Magic Wand" is a counterfeit, excepting the used market on places like e-bay (and buyer beware even then).

I have disassembled an original wand (we bought one years ago) and a couple of the recent products masquerading as such. There are dramatic differences beyond only the original having Hitachi markings inside.

The original motor is physically larger and weighs more. Just heft an original and any new one in each hand.

The original linkage (stem) connecting the head is longer and stiffer. Set them side by side and see the different gap length. Flex the two heads and feel the difference in resistance.

I'm upset that no one (listening China?) has duplicated the original wand. China will build almost anything you can specify, and the Hitachi mechanics are well know.

This is another example of the "race to the bottom" where marketers are trying to convince us that an inferior product is now acceptable. No true alternatives are offered, so we can't "vote with our money".

You won't be disappointed with the Hitachi Magic Wand. Yes, it's more expensive than others, but the quality is head and shoulders above its competitors. When you consider the cost, amortized over years of use, it will turn out cheapest in the long run.
