Hi , Can anyone recommend a viagra tablet that doesn't have side effects?
Grandpa is having problems so he got some but it gives him big pains in his joints and back [works great though].
I told him not to worry there are other ways , the clue was in his age [69] but he didn't get it !
I thinkit's a pride/macho thing "Got to keep both my girls happy" (that would be me and grandma).
Anyway ,would appreciate some ideas .
Keep safe and well xx

... and that rhymes with V, and that means.... Well we all know that one.

But to your point, I get my V from the VA, and it's all they seem to provide, so it's what I have.
I have tried Cialis when I've gotten samples from a friend who's had so much surgery that nothing helps him get woody any more, and I've found that the side and after-effects are fewer and milder than those produced by Viagra. Cialis is, however, more expensive, if that's a factor for you, as it is for me.
If it saves you any time on research, my experience is echoed quite a lot in threads dealing specifically with the subject here.
Good luck and hard times.

Side effects and dosage are closely linked. Start small, and resist the urge to go any larger than necessary. For me, there's a definite sweet spot.

I do not believe it is his age. It is rather his level of fitness. I suspect he has so-called 'underlying conditions'. Once he is sufficiently fit. he will not need this drug, I believe.

I recommend Grandpa talks to his doctor about options. If Grandpa has underlying health issues then there could be problems with taking unprescribed meds.

Viagra has now gone generic. You can get 30 20mg pills for thirty bucks with a GoodRX coupon. Which means you would have to take three to be the same as a 50mg Viagra doseage. My doc said you can take up to a 100mg at a time, although the I have only taken 80mg to have it work... for a while.

I'm on beta blockers and after a short time they would interfere with the viagra. As I exercised more, I suddenly didn't need the pills. For about a year, I had never woke with a woody, then one morning, bam! a woody. I smiled as I tried to pee.

Boner Brew...

A friend of mine who’s a retired Chiropractor and Prostate Cancer Survivor gave me this formula, he call’s it “Boner Brew” years ago.

Murray has been my friend and Chiropractor for twenty five years. He gave me this recipe about ten years ago and had it printed out on a little hand out in his office for all his patients. He also maintained that a misaligned spine pinching a nerve can be an erection killer as well.

600 ML Pineapple Juice
300 ML Female Ginseng liquid Extract
1 ML Yohimbe Bark Liquid extract
1 tsp fine ground black pepper
1 tsp Organic Maca Root Powder
1 tsp ground/ minced Ginkgo Leaf
1000 MG L-arginine
300 MG Red Ginseng
500 MG Horny Goat Weed

....and my experience is exactly the opposite. I've waffled back and forth, trying one or the other (with RX), before finally settling on low dose Viagra (20-40 mg generic) for having the least side effects. A higher dose, of course, means more side effects.

I do not have ED per se but rather just the regular performance changes that might be associated with age (now 63 but fit). Let's see if I can make this make sense.

I get hard in response to stimulation. I can usually stay hard through a long session but, sometimes, and especially if in an awkward position or when I have distracting aches and pains (cervical spine surgery/degenerative disc disease) I might lose that "rock hardness" and be less hard than I would like at some point. That hardness also always returns before I ejaculate. In light of the fact that my wife and I are aging, and have sex less often than when we were younger and certainly less often than I would prefer, I want everything to work perfectly when we do have sex. I also want the same for my same sex extra-marital activities.

Ultimately, this is what I've found (as has been noted and edited on half a dozen threads on the subject).

Both Viagra and Cialis work. Viagra seems to have a more direct affect in response to stimulation in that it will "get the blood flowing", and get things hard and keep it hard in response to the slightest sexual activity, kissing, petting, or especially direct touching of my genitals. If stimulation continues after orgasm, there is virtually no refractory period and I can usually come again in short order. With Viagra, once stimulation is over my erection will go away and my penis will become fully flaccid unless....stimulated again. The primary downside is that headache and nasal stuffiness, seem to be more pronounced with Viagra than with Cialis. This....I can live with.

Cialis is an odd bird. Taken in advance, it will leave me feeling slightly aroused below the waste within an hour without any direct stimulation. Even the rubbing of my penis on my underwear will leave me feeling aroused and sometimes partially erect and leaking pre-cum. Upon going to bed (or wherever we're going to play), after taking Cialis, I will get hard just with anticipation and with no direct stimulation.

To me, Cialis is not just an erection enhancer but also a sensation enhancer and it literally gives me what I can only describe as a "sexual itch", or feeling of anticipation, from my penis to my anus. I also feel that it enhances the intensity and duration of my orgasm. Like Viagra, it leaves me with virtually no refractory period but, unlike Viagra, it will leave me not what I would call hard, or not even with what I would call a "partial erection", but slightly enhanced (larger and firmer) with no stimulation for the duration of the drugs effect. I will feel that "sexual itch" for a day after taking it. I have less of the headache and nasal stuffiness side effect with Cialis but....unfortunately it gives me severe, and more severe each time I use it, lower back and leg pain. This...I cannot live with.

The leg pain, a not uncommon side effect of Cialis, got so bad, and became such a regular side effect, that I will no longer use it. It usually didn't hit the night I first took a dose, but rather the next day and for several days and nights following for the length of the 72 hours of the drug's effectiveness.

I can put up with the stuffy nose and headache from Viagra but, as a distance runner (at age 63) I can't tolerate the leg pain from Cialis and I will never take it again.

And just how would one collect this diverse batch of ingredients?

Viagra works best for me in small doses. Cut a 100 mg in half, then cut the half into thirds or in half. If I took a 50 mg it just doesn't seem to work as well.

So, cutting a 100mg tablet in half... it's that the same as two 50mg tablets? Of course it is. Then cutting the half tab in thirds... what the hell is that? Now you got three little dust piles of 16.666mg each. of if you cut it in half, its 25mg.

So you could go through all that work or just use 20mg tablet generic to get what you need.

My medical insurance pays for 6, 100 mg generic per month. It's not a problem cutting them.
BTW Good math skills there!

I love how insurance companies will pay for shit that cost less than a dollar to make. Actually, Viagra is hurting now that their pill has been released in generic form. I also love how they think you're only going to engage in sex 6 times a month.

Actually, the second pill costs less than a dollar to make. The first pill takes ten million dollars to make.

But I think that the Viagra people have made their money back on the thing. They're not hurting.

Thanks, I learned math before the New Math came out and before the shit they are teaching now.
