Viagra good or bad experience?

As age takes its toll, is viagra good for the man? For his partner?
Have you tried it or a lover using it? Any problems? Dangers??

Just looking for first hand info, but any banter is welcome.

ED meds help, if the desire is there. It's not like being with a 21 year old by any means, at least not in my experience, but they work. If there is no desire then not so much.

My husbands friend used them for a while as other medication he was on restricted blood flow. Apparently they worked for him. Now he's back to normal & he gave my husband one to try.
He doesn't need it but thought he'd try it & I can't even remember if he did yet (brain fart) lol. I'll have my GF here in case he just goes & goes like the energizer bunny

In my experience it helped hubby get super hard, but didn't do much for lasting and there was still no round 2. Just not worth the cost to me. I got toys.

2 rounds is good, up to 4 in a 3some (over the evening) but more than that he'll be saying leave me alone the next couple of days lol

My husband was taking one of those meds until his latest heart problems. We are old and really should have outgrown this desire. Even with BP meds it helped him.
Now his doctors warned him not to take anything like that so I have my special friends and hubby keeps his health.

I be Viagra LOVED his skit though! I hope it lives on... part of the reason for the thread... As long as we laugh, he will be remembered. God must be having a blast.

I'm 63, generally fit, with sex three, four times a week. Without taking something, it would be a rare thing for me to get a hard-on worthy of taking my woman to orgasm unless it's morning, I've slept really well, and I'm really relaxed about the day ahead.

So, I do take stuff. Have done for a few years.

Viagra? - I have a prescription for it which in the UK means, with me being over 60, it's for free. Though in limited quantity which would mean twice a week if it was evenings/nights as at that time of day I would take 100mm, that is two tablets. Morning or day-time 50mm is plenty enough.

But I only rarely use it, and much prefer herbal Vs, and here's why:

Viagra does sort the 'plumbing' for me excellently, but that is all it does; there is no element of enhancement of my desire before and my 'animalism' during, nor the intensity nor the power to choose the moment of my own climax.

Two or three of the herbal Vs I have tried and use do all those things. And they are effective in my system for longer. We don't often choose to go for a round two soon - as distinct from a couple or three hours later - but I can be hard again if I've taken a herbal V really pretty soon. Further and so importantly for the guys, the side effects of some of the herbals are not so bad as Viagra can be: flushing, eye-tingles, headache.

The herbals available in the UK and Europe generally are getting better, while it remains a minefield, with trash products and with some products having been found to contain viagra or cialis which, if they are not prescription drugs, is of course dreadful. With all that stuff being un-regulated, the argument for staying away from them is of course a strong one and I respect that. But I have found what works really well for me.

That's why I host a thread on the subject, a click from my signature.
