I love that show. It's Classic Rock weekend.
Watched a fantastic biography on AC/ DC last night.

Like you care, right?

I like some of those too. It is interesting to see (as the title suggests) behind the music...

Wierd Al Yankovic's was perhaps the best I've seen yet.

Def Leppard's wasn't bad either. :)

Ooh! And the Shaun Cassidy one was really funny. :)

(Oh Summer Rose, my beautiful flower of the season, I can't reply if da box be fulla stuff, ya dig?) :)

Yeah, but compared to the other ones it was so boring! No drugs, no booze, no out-of-wedlock children, no jail time . . . dull as hell! :)

The only time they got to play that sappy music was at the end, when they said that Al was still single. But he got married in February 2001, and I don't think they've changed it yet . . .

I swear, "BTM" has some subliminal messages or something keeping you watching. I remember I was watching one for Rick James. I don't care about Rick James. But I couldn't stop watching . . .

TB4p

it might be interesting for vh1 to do a behind the music on jimmy page. particularly the post zeppelin years and the years before he joined the yardbirds. as for storytellers, how about sir paul mccartney? or maybe the who?

That's one I would like to see, Jimmy Page.

They just did Jimi Hendrix. Now the Eagles.

i agreee about vh1 being better than mtv. somehow it's more attentive to what it should be: actual music. mtv 2 is not too bad though, at least there's no shows on it. jimmy page is my all time favorite guitar player, still he's a guy who's not much known about. he's pretty secretive is pagey, but then again i guess that's part of the image he's created.

You can go to vh1.com and fill out a feedback survey asking what you'd like to see and how you've liked the ones so far. My favorite..by FAR is the Leif Garrett one. LOL..never laughed so hard in my life.

Oh, I care! I love that show and I've seen the AC/DC biography several times. What a great bunch of guys eh? Sure, they all have their fiobles, but have good hearts.

Great band, great music and great guys.

Cool! I have always been a very big fan of AC/DC's music. But, I never really knew too much back history of them. It was an extremely interesting biography. My like for them took on a whole new meaning!

That was the first one I saw, it rocked! (as does the band)

Now that's what I like to hear. Still my favorite band. :D

I hear ya...they are just great. I especially like their very early stuff, like 74' Jailbreak. Very raw sounding and very good. What makes that whole band tick is Malcom and Angus playing off eachother, rythme and lead. You could change the supporting cast around them, but those two are what makes it all happen, the sound.

They have a very good website at: http://www.acdcband.com

I swear I've seen every single episode of that show. I used to be a VH1 junkie. *L* I like it though, because I can talk music with a variety of age groups, genres, etc. :)

Watch with my daughter

Fun watching the shows on early rock bands. I always surprise her after the shows by breaking out the old albums and playing them. She always ends up saying that those old songs sound a lot like some of what the new groups are doing

I have to honestly admit that I was never a fan of the Mommas and Poppas or The Carpeters until I began watching "Behind The Music".

But my favorite "Behind The Music" was of Marvin Gaye.

"Behind the Music" on VH1 is a very good show.......esp.
if you are into a favorite artist or group!
