the following people who commented on a couple of my stories. 'CeliaisAliena' and 'Boxcarbil.'

It may be that I will have a fairly well-known film producer get behind a (full) movie script of mine under my own name shortly (I've been involved in others before), and if this happens it will have been due in part to one or two of the amazing comments.

I am sufficiently close in negotiations to be able to say all of this now (I've been working on it for a while), and I think it is definitely likely to happen in some form now for sure although many things DO get mangled up in Hollywood.

...And if, IF - anything happens I will further advise all the key people responsible here for this outstanding website. ALL, the key people. And that will include writers and obviously the site owners. Obviously.

Sounds great. Would like to see movie producers mining Literotica for expansion of the movie form of what would be a meaty-theme mainstream movie just with explicit, graphic, prlonged :)D) sex in it.

Believe it or not, there are a reasonable amount of actual 'storylines' here and most of the difficulty with any mainstream producer/director would be to 'tone down' the over-the-top sex and yet still have the rest of the thing retain some edginess.

Those people will have a hayday in the Sci fi section. That place is a gold mine for Hollywood.

Providing they contact the author about it and just don't steal it.

I think most probably some people already do that -steal stuff, from here and elsewhere/everywhere.

There are two main reasons I posted this now: 1. to let other writers know AS SOON AS any development took place that might lead to commercialisation of work that flows through here, and 2. to make absolutely sure to let people know that I for one would never deal with anyone who steals work, and that I would personally only ever deal with producers who play the game honestly - in spite of the fact that I do know how difficult it is sometimes to get a proper budget.

My own view is that an ever larger percentage of product that comes out of Hollywood - or better put, mainstream entertainment production companies - is of a quite poor standard as far as real storyline or inner style, regardless of the ever-increasing marketing and propaganda budgets which make them out to be popular and which people absolutely love. I am personally not negative towards special effects - I love Transformers (the first one) and there are a number of sc-fi shorts, some of which are purely CGI which I love. But avoiding the input from writers is a big commercial mistake and so is avoiding having decent directors and genuine professional actors, rather than kids out of some expensive 'drama college.'

You also have to remember that much of what comes from Hollywood is simply a remake of something European or South Asian to be brutal about it.

There was, back in the Eighties, a 150% tax rebate available in Australia - and everyone from Hollywood turned up here, which allowed me to work in the industry back then. As soon as the tax dodge was even slightly wound back, everyone left again - and I am sure the big end of the industry is just motivate by what they perceive as easy dollars.

Today, however, there is a certain I would say, 'desperation' coming to the surface even in Hollywood...

And when you are desperate, ya just hafta turn to the guys who can make the sale, instead of the back-handing marketing department who bullshit on the numbers to the accountants.

Which Hollywood producer, I ask you, can point to a million viewers/readers on something with absolutely ZERO marketing having been done (or marketing dollars spent) on it?? Much less a million RETURN viewers/readers?

Yes it is a rough tough game. And I might not succeed.

But I will play fair. And hard.
