I got the following scam e-mail. It's very professional looking, but note the e-mail address. DON'T BITE!

What is the nature of the scam, please ?

I had won $800,000+ from Microsoft and Yahoo. All I had to do was to e-mail Africa to get the money. Yeah, right.
I never entered any contest. I know quite a bit about .ZA (South Africa) and it's a closed society with a lot of rules about money transfers. Then, Microsoft and Yahoo, USAQ companies, decided to give a USA guy money from Africa. No way.

I'd think the scam would be obvious enough not to need to even be brought up. It's difficult to think that anyone would be gullible enough in this era of the Internet to give these a second thought.
