The best part, for me, about the RNC was the Ron Paul "Rally for the Republic" going on right across the street (figuratively). 10k people, and none of it paid for with tax dollars (Something Dems and Republicans fail, with their money, to manage).

And the intellectual heir to the Ron Paul Revolution? Jesse Ventura... and he's calling it out for 2012. I have regained some faith in American Politics. He's ideologically in my ballpark, and young enough to pull it off.

I saw him in several interviews and my favorite is the one where he talks about his home in Mexico with "all the brown people that scare Lou Dobbs".
