Kierae said:I have a vertical piercing and love it. The actual piercing didn't hurt as much as some of my other piercings (have 17 and think the cartilege ones are the worse). It really healed quickly (good blood supply down there) and was "messed" with right away. I use to have a ring in it but I switched over to a curved barbell which I really prefer and then I upgraded the gauge of the barbell several years ago. The balls on the barbell happen to rest in the proper areas and provide stimulation to the clit. Feel free to pm me if you have any other questions.![]()
BiBunny said:I have one, too! It hurt for about a second--just long enough for the piercer to push the needle through--and that was all. I really didn't bleed at all, either, and I wasn't even very sore. I could play with it after about a week, and it was healed enough to take the barbell out and leave it out for a few hours by the second week.
I really like the way it looks and feels, but I have problems with the barbell sometimes. Because it's kind of heavy on such a small and delicate part, I tend to get pretty sore after wearing the barbell for two or three days. So I have to take it out, and then it's a really big pain to try to put back in! Smaller curved barbells seem to give less trouble, but, of course, the smaller they are, they harder they are to take out and put in. Even if I haven't quite figured out the solution to that problem, I still think it's worth the trouble. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.![]()

Has anyone who has had this piercing experienced loss of sensation in that area over time? I have heard you get used to it but do you run the risk of getting actually numb?
