Your words still caress my cheek
Your rhymes continue to touch my ear
But I must love you from a distance
I cannot get too near.

You bring dischord to my heart
With your fiery obstinate spirit
It is best we are apart
Than be fighting every minute.

I would rather love you from a distance
Than hate you from close range
Your book could use some assistance
It's a delight but could use my sharp eye.

Surely all this is in my chart
You must have asleep to not have seen it
Some times we are blinded by our wishes
And fooled by what we want to be.

Malevolent spirit

How is it that so many people
Misunderstand my intentions?
I try to be honest, truthful and clear.
Yet what I say gets twisted
Turned around and then used against me.
So that instead of friendship
I am looked upon with fear.

Is there some evil sprite?
Some malevolent spirit?
That is messing with my reality
And bringing chaos to my truths?

Or I am so unclear in my thoughts
That my words come out badly.
And a fair interpretation
Does make me to look deceitful and uncouth.

Maybe I am simply so deluded
That I can't see the games I am playing.
I only think that I am am honest and true.
So that perhaps I am the malevolent spirit
That is messing with reality
And bringing chaos to the world and you.

Naughtiest Dreams (lyrics)

(to be sung by Julie Andrews to the Von Trapp children LOL)

White satin sheets and black blindfolds on my eyes
Both ankles bound and hot sex with 3 young guys.
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my naughtiest dreams

Ice cubes and Jello such chilling sensations
Movement to music and feeling vibrations
Trenchcoated agents spy my pigeon bath
These are all fantasies that make me laugh!

Hot tubs and mud baths; shared with good friends freely
Chocolate and whipped cream sweet tasting and messy
Silver balls (benwa) and vibrating toys
Voyeur-like peeking and hearing love's noise!

When the whip strikes
When the chains clang
When I am feeling BAD
I simply remember my naughtiest dreams
And all the good times I've had.

Green Velvet Dress

I was only 19 and this was to be the big night
The big dance everyone was waiting for.
Then my first love Mik did inform me
That my love for him was too confining
And it was now time for him
To set himself free.

I locked myself in the bathroom
Of the hotel room I shared
All my other friends had gone on to the ball.
I cried the tears of my life
And screamed at the unfairness of it all.

But I could see the clock was ticking
Time was moving forward
And this Saturday would never be here again
So I put on my dress, my green velvet dress
And I dare say I was more beautiful than I ever have been.

I was flirting and dancing with a cute guy name Gunar
When my eyes met with Mik's across the hall.
His jaw was wide open, his astonishment clear
When I cried no more and became the belle of the ball!

Your poetry is beautiful as well. Thanks for the complement. How did you set up your link?

I am new (but not that new...LOL worked off my "virginity" in a hurry) and want to share a number of other poems I have,

Locked stares

He analyzes her
She analyzes him
They stare at each other
Neither lowers their gaze
Too keenly aware
That they would give their edge away
If they blinked.

Pushing your buttons

Twisted people, who want to push your buttons
They want control, always an agenda
Dark heart souls who want to pull your strings
They seem so nice, but watch out for that sting!

FIGHT BACK -
Don't let 'em hurt you
Think - don't let them have control
If you do, you surely will regret it
If you do, you surely will lose your soul

Understand the workings of your buttons
Hide , protect. Be protective of your strings
Don't let 'em creep through the dark unnoticed
And steal away your will and all your dreams.

FIND FRIENDS
Friends who always will stand by you
Think - don't let dark hearts have control
If you do, you surely will regret it
If you do, you surely will lose your soul

They manipulate with guilt and doubt as weapons
They cry and shout how life's unfair to them
They lure you in with mournful cries of pity
They seem so weak, you don't see they've got control.

DON'T YIELD
Don't give in to their powers
Stop, and hear what's really being said
If you don't, you surely will regret it
If you don't, you surely will lose your soul.
