Vanity Searches

How many of us do vanity searches.
Funny that this had never occurred to me until I read a thread about it in the gb about four months after I joined.

I'm the first one and I said every day, how sad is that?

The truth is, its a search everyday, yes, but its only to easily find any threads that I was conversing in. Honest.

I check one of my other screen names about once a month, because it's always popping up somewhere. Used to do it about once a week, but since I've virtually abandoned that alias I don't worry about it so much.

I've never searched this one, though. Huh. I'm feeling a little neurotic about that now...

I don't even know how to do a search on here. I thought the poll was referring to something like googling yourself. I picked once a month. it's not really that often, but it was the closest choice I had. my name has never come up in any of my searches.... is that good or bad?

A vanity search is when you do a search of lit for any mention of your name contained within a post. As to why, I guess that depends on your personality.
As I said earlier I had never heard of it either until I came across a thread on the gb about it, so of course I had to have a go, I was actually suprised that I even rated a mention, although some of them were for animals in the word games.

Yes, I've done a few vanity searches. I saw a similar thread on the GB, I suppose, and I was curious. Surprisingly enough, I've stumbled across some very nice things that have been said about me.
