Vanilla soft-serve with chocolate sprinkles…

I know you guys are having AWFUL weather, and I’m sorry to post this. Not trying to rub anything in…

But here on Florida’s West Coast it was one of those INCREDIBLY beautiful days where it is a SIN to be inside. 70s and windy. Just absolute perfection. So, I went down to the beach and there was a vendor there serving soft serve ice cream.

(There is a joke Floridians have about soft-serve ice cream. Basically, we like to watch Yankees come down here on vacation, order one, and act like they’ve got TIME).

Anyway, I got a small cone with chocolate sprinkles, and it hit me…this is probably something I haven’t had in 15 years or more…since I was a KID! And DAMN was it GOOD ;-)

There should be more things to have sprinkles on when you’re an adult! There just should be!

I haven’t been this happy since they opened a Steak and Shake where I can have vanilla cokes ;-)

Anyone else miss old flavors of childhood like these?

MP ;)

As I've said before, MP... you are an evil EVIL woman! *grin* Not only does the weather here suck (expecting up to 3 feet of snow!) but I can't eat ice cream either... *sigh*

Remind me how it tastes? Perhaps I can live vicariously through you? And, while you're at it... tell me what the sun feels like?

Uh Huh ... Like "here babe, I'm just going to sprinkle these all over your cock before I lick you clean".

Now THAT would go down a treat ... well it would for us :p

Lord yes MP...just enjoying this weather today!!!

And speaking of IceCream...I bought me some Breyers French Vanilla today that I just LOVE to smother in peanutbutter.

Oh yeah?????????

We only got flurries here, but I can empathize with my fellow northerners.

So, on their behalf, I say you sprinkle-loving pinko commie sunbaked bitch...take this:

May your 30 SPF sunblock be mislabeled and, instead, hold Johnson's Baby Oil.

By the by, it ain't so smart to throw flames coming from a state where the climate is as dry as the humor! :p

ROCKY ROAD! I live for chocolate and rocky road puts me into ice cream heaven....Oh, damn! Now I have to run to the store....

I hope an alligator eats you.

Thank you and have a nice day.

I still go and play on the swings....

Even better...

Tonight I had a grilled cheese sammich and Champbell's tomato soup for supper.

Tomorrow I am thinking beanie weenies or pigs in a blanket...

I love this stuff.

I make a mean mac and cheese if you're in the mood for a large serving of cholesterol!

Mac and cheese? Screw that. If I'm going down for cholesterol I'm going down by way of linguini carbonara ;)

A fifty/fifty bar - half vanilla and half orange. Yum.

Oh, and about the weather. Remind me to gloat next fall when it's absolutely gorgeous up here and you guys are about to be visited by your third hurricane. ;)
