Clear Pepsi should have taught these soda companies a lesson. but after the sucess of Pepsi's Code Red Mountain dew they are starting to get more daring. I think I heard something about a blue pepsi coming out soon too. And Coke is about to push Vanilla coke down our throats.

That sounds like it will taste like liquid crap. Who is looking forward to these new flavors?

In my area Lemon Pepsi is the thing they shove down our throats...every day some place is giving it away free...even that is too much...that stuff is crap too...

I for one LOVE REAL lemon-cokes and vanilla-cokes. The problem is that when it's translated to those damn cans and rubber bottles it tastes like crap.

Ahhh...remembering fondly the days of glass bottles, and a nice fountain Vanilla-coke.

When I was a teen I worked at a "Foster's Freeze" type place.......and Vanilla Cokes were pretty popular. I tried one once....way too sweet for me.

I remember sitting at the counter, reading Teen Beat, drinking a Real vanilla Coke, talking about the rumble after school. Bottling memories leaves a dull, saccharin taste.

I dunno, I'm a big fan of vanilla vodka in root beer... tastes like a rootbeer float, it just happens to have a lil 'kick'.

But I agree that when they use artificial flavors and put 'em in the bottle, they invariably taste like crap. I like a real lemon squeezed into my diet coke, but the stuff off the shelves isn't remotely the same.

Actually while I am not fond of coke to begin with, unless of course it is mixed with a little Jack Daniel's. There's a place in town where I live that serves vanilla coke and surprisingly it is really good.(Just like the old fountain drinks) Other than that, I'm not really into the hype of all the new flavors and colors. I will usually stick to my regular Pepsi.

When you think about all the mediocre products that fail...and some of the actually good ideas that fail...how does something so horrible as Tab still exist? Or is it all from the 70's and they just haven't sold it all yet???

It wasn't enough to fuck up the product when the developed "New Coke", only to have to come back with "Coke Classic". Now they want to bring out another version of Coca-Cola. Well, I'm an old fashion who believes that "if it's not broke don't fix it." I'm a big addict of the original Coke (a.k.a Coke Classic) so that'll be the only Coke that I'll be drinking.

Pepsi Blue will indeed be berry flavored. I'd give it a try since I'm really big on berries. I wasn't impressed with lemon Coke or Pepsi but Code Red is great. Mind you, I wouldn't be able to drink a hell of a lot of it.

I liked the clear Pepsi too....it was kind of cool. Cherry Coke has always been my favorite though.

I love the Fountain vanilla cokes and the MD code red. I have to agree that lemon Pepsi was very nasty. I'll have to try a blue pepsi before I decide on that one.

I won't do Lemon anything, except lemonade. So they can keep taht lemon tea and soda shit. But Vanilla, yep. As long as it's real vanilla, and not the imitation crap flavoring, which it probably will be.

I'll drink one anyway just to see if i like it, then I'll make my final desicion on whether or not Vanilla Coke isn't it.
