I have a quick question that some of you may be able to answer. What do the terms vanilla and non-vanilla mean?

The short explaination is that vanilla is without kink and non-vanilla is with kink.

Though I dont consider myself non-vanilla.

I just like toppings on mine. ;)

Can I be one of those toppings ;)

nah. But when your told it over and over again you just have to assume it's true heh heh.
You certainly top me in the cute area though. But girly parts have always been cuter to me than boy parts.

I'm not sure what you are asking.
vanilla is vanilla and non-vanilla is w/o.
I personal love the smell of vanilla. espicaily candles and lotions., It really gets me in the mood.

Vanilla is a term for a relationship that is free from kink, it's "normal" sex. Non-Vanilla is a term for a relationship.. like BDSM, for example...

I think Vanilla all the time can be very dull

best to switch it up or just live the non-vanilla. You won't want to go back for awhile after you've tried it but then you can only do so much before you crave the just normal sex again

Ok, call me slow. I don't get this. You mean if I want to have kinky sex it would be I want to have non vanilla sex?
LOL where did this expression come from?:confused:

Enquiring mind needs to know;)

ok, vanilla implies "plain". not bad, cuz let's face it, vanilla is a pretty perfect flavor for ice cream, but just unfettered with complications or kink. non-vanilla, let's call it strawberry, is equally tasty, just different and it has bits of fruit in it. so the implication here is that strawberry sex involves more than the old in out. for instance, just today i was handcuffed to a chair, whipped with a riding crop, and told that no matter what is done, or how hard, i can't make a noise. this is a form of strawberry sex.

Wow, thanks for all the replies. I am also relieved to see that I wasn't the only one who was unfamiliar with these terms.

vanilla = innocent, sweet, sensual

chocolate= wild, sexy, hot, kinky

I guess you could call me a "swirl"......soft serve of course :)
