I’ve given up on flickr. Even using a VPN links don’t work. When I locate your Vanessa6552 ID on there from my saved profiles, all I get now is 6 tame photos and nothing else. Albums are empty.

sounds like the setting aren't allowing you to view - did you check them to make sure its not set to safe. My free account works with a vpn and correct settings and I am in the uk also. Click on your profile image and go to setting. under permissions and privacy the content settings should look like this -
if that doesnt work - not sure what else you can do. Steve

Alas, Flickr is proving to be more trouble than it's worth. The site, I've found, is clunky, unnecessarily complicated, difficult to organise and, well, disappointing. Have given it, what I think, is my best shot. I like the way the photos are displayed there but, with regard to a pleasant, uncomplicated experience, it falls short. We're doing this mainly to be able to share our pics etc but if people aren't able to see them easily then it's a waste of time.

In answer to your question: no, is the simple reply Alex, I (we) need to concentrate on the job at hand.....probably sounds rather business like but I need to concentrate on the photography side of things; Vanessa the posing etc. This doesn't allow much time for the mind to wander to more obvious attractions. Vids are more 'hands on'....obviously

I especially like the way they are displayed on Flickr so much so that I have now coughed up and gone pro, so I hope you continue to use Flickr and SP both. I see you have been having a tidy up and sort out on SP, I always enjoy reviewing your albums even the ones documenting your travels which I find almost as interesting as your wonderful photos of your gorgeous wife, Vanessa which you so generously share with us.

I normally use the iPad app and the setting shown are different, but for some reason tonight I see 104 photos with 5 albums. I logged in via web page and saw the search settings and they are already as above. It is just weird.

It is just weird Richard. Tonight without making any changes to the settings, if I view ‘vanesse6552’, I can see 5 albums with 104 photos.
Also the links to Flickr you posted today actually work.

A little bit of nonsense: Vanessa and I, like most of the worlds population, enjoy ice cream. We generally make a point of eating it at least a couple of times a week after dinner......either with some other dessert or on its own. However, over time, the 'fancy' brand(s) we routinely would buy seemed to be less palatable to the point of not digesting very well at all. One afternoon we happened to come across a Youtube clip on good and downright bad ice cream brands. Turned out the few favourite varieties we eaten for years, were not "ice cream" at all. Over the past few years they had become somewhat of a industrial chemists playground. They are now called ice desserts......something we'd not noticed. The clip had a couple of recommended brands, the real thing: milk, cream etc and not much else. The other brands had none! We now eat petty much true ice cream.

I took the near new container of ice dessert and tipped it out down the back yard, thinking it would just melt away in a few hours. Wishful thinking. Not only was it the same solid lump of crap the next morning, but it was still there three days later! Check your ice cream container; if the main ingredients are not cream, milk and sugar.........then it ain't ice cream.
