Myra leaded against the cold cement wall. The air was a little brisk, but smelled of a fresh rain. The only few times the city didn't stink. It was night, and although she was on a side walk, none of the street lights on the block worked. Go figure, the street lights in front of a supernatural bar wouldn't work. The bar itself was just a warehouse, and the entrance was a discreet door. No advertisements would be found here, also no line. If you couldn't get in here, you should leave and never come back. Your life might actually depend on it.

Only one man stood outside, the doorman. He wore a black suit and dark sunglasses. Myra was pretty sure he was staring at her. She wasn't exactly hiding, she wanted her presence known. The fact that he was obviously listening and speaking with security inside, was a dead give away that she had their attention. Good, I don't need any sort of management getting in the way. The doorman raised his hand to his ear, listening for orders. Then he pulled off his glasses, and gave Myra a nod, and put the glasses back on.

She started across the street. Not dressed for a club scene, she was going to stand out. She was going to make people uncomfortable. Everyone would know who she was, maybe that would help her here. Myra was what was called a Lawman. When supernatural beings, or feyna, committed crimes against humanity someone had to dispense justice. When a human being was killed by a feyna, it was her job to investigate, try, and execute the guilty. This made her very unpopular with her own kind. Which made having a personal life almost impossible. Not ever really having had a long term relationship, her sex life consisted of numerous one night stands. With an occasional return of a past lover

“You may enter. However they want to express that you are to take any violence outside. Your kind have a way of getting things messy.” The doorman spoke while stairing out into the street unmoving.

“Funny, cause I caught your scent and I'm actually here for one of your kind tonight.” His jawline tensed, and without saying another word she grabbed the door knob and entered the club.

Upon entering, her ears flooded with the vibrations from the bass. The smell of many different kinds of fayne's sweat and perfume filled her nostrils. The building was much larger than it appeared from the outside. Straight ahead of her was a large dance floor, small platforms dotting the floor with girls dancing atop them. A staircase leading up to a VIP balcony was to her right. And a bar to her left. The balcony wrapped around the whole building. Making her way to the bar, she decided that was the best place to wait.

She was meeting a informant here. Someone left a tip that the vampire she was hunting was a regular here and would be here tonight. He didn't leave any information about himself, so she couldn't keep an eye out. He obviously wasn't worried about being discovered, since he asked to meet here. She wasn't known for being subtle, and she was contacted directly, and wasn't asked to come undercover.

She felt eyes staring at her, and turned to survey the sea of people around her. From a distance she locked eyes for a brief moment with a man. When she tried to find the face again, he seemed to disappear into the crowd. Too bad, he wasn't bad looking. Uh, there is not telling what he was though. From the corner of the vison she spotted him again. He was working his way through the throng of people coming in her direction.
