It would be interesting for a character to treat vampirism as an STD. Perhaps the hapless vampire would have no idea that vampirism could be transmitted via sex. Perhaps the woman would ask if he was clean and he would say something along the lines of, "other than being a vampire, yes." In this case, one would probably go with a goth girl who would completely miss the point. Anyhow, I'm thinking something akin the Nightlife would be an appropriate treatment of this topic.
I can also envision the victim as the narrator and have her thinking that the vampire was a jerk for convincing her to have sex without a condom. Better yet, he did use a condom. A lot of people seem to completely forget that STDs can also be communicated via oral sex.
