To many ....
A day to think about those you love
Is any day don’t you think?
Why confine it to just one day
Of flowers, chocolate and the color pink?
I would love you
For all of the days
That I could be with you
And see thy sweet gaze.
Come, my love, let us away
To a kingdom of magic and sweet delight
Ignoring all others for just a wee time
To play with each other and let passions ignite.
To hold you so tight
And feel your embrace.
I will seek you tonight
And let our souls interlace.

We banter and play while our lover’s are away.
Talk about things in the usual way.
But under our talk is a current that flows
A feeling perhaps that we dare not expose.
I tell you this now in quiet confidence
That something is there, just held in suspense.
Whether it grows and eventually takes shape …
I do not now know … but I would not escape.
