Valentine Cards

If you could pen your own Valentine card for mass marketing.....what would you say?

Standing in front of rows and rows of cards I was inspired by some and also amazed by the mediocre.

But to each their own.

So I thought it might be fun to have a thread where each of us could express those words which do not exist on a Valentine's card.


No need to worry about grammar or vocabulary....the only thing that matters is expressing emotions.


I'll go first....




Before you...Grace was merely a word.

Before you...I thought I knew it all.

Now I am just beginning to know Grace.

Stand with me and teach me all that I thought I knew.

Let us live together and discover all that life has to give.

Let this be the first day of a lifetime of Valentine's Days.

~after almost 24 valentine's days its hard to come up with something new! lol

I'm terrible with writting poems and things for these occasions. i've already sent my cards, and am now thinking of something new i could have writen in them...

I didn't know what was happening to me- to us, before, but now i know that what was happening could only have been the most beautiful thing.
Love was not something i had planned, but im grateful that it happened.
I'm grateful that it is still happening to us.
I love you- there is no simpler nor more powerful way to express how i feel about you, and how you make me feel.
I want to spend the rest of my life living yesterdays, todays and tomorrow's with you.
I love you every day, not just today- though it's a beautiful extra excuse- not that i need one, to get soppy and amourous.
This, Valentine's 2008, our first together- is the first of many many yet to come.
