I went for a checkup last week and my doctor told me I have a prolapse of the wall of the vagina, most probably caused by the forceps delivery of my son 22 years ago. I had my tubes tied 6 years ago and when I stopped the contraceptive pill the same thing happened. With physiotherapy and doing kegel exercises it improved, but I still have occasional stress incontinence.
I have been told I may need surgery to correct this and "lift everything up". Have any other women here had this surgery? Did it fix your leakage problem? Was your sex life affected/improved? I would like to be able to be fisted at some stage, will this still be possible?
