I feel vagina is an emotive word which brings to mind the true sense indicators of the organ. It's pungent aroma, unique texture, etc. I've heard many complain that it's too clinical and detracts from an otherwise erotic tale.
What do you think? What do you consider to be the perfect word or words for the organ?:p

If you like it yours wet, try this:

Vagina is a bit...well...stiff. I prefer pussy, hot hole, even womanhood over vagina. I do hesitate completely at the word cunt, shouldn't be used at all since it tends to have a strong negative connotation. I have used...wetness, lips, steamy juncture, and some others I can't recall just now. I have found that women read my stories and as such...well if I feel that my wife wouldn't like, it I don't use it.

Vagina...

Vagina= Slit, slash, furburger, hairy clam, oyster felt up, slanted chute, pussy, punanie, cat's nest, quim, crotch, coochie coo, twat, cunt, hair pie, fuck slot, fuck hole, fuck chute, womanhood, woman's hooded favor, dirty piss hole, sweet essence of all that lives, hot dog bun, groin, to mention just a few.

Whatever the author calls a vagina can, and will be discriptive to the moment, and the time and place, and the word we use should translate the feelings of the characters in the story, and the way the story is told.

I've heard Ladies say cunt in the throes of passion, and whores squeel with delight using vagina, or no discriptive word at all. It just depends on the characters preferences. How ever you discribe the well of tomorrow, use it with care.

Hi

Quite so Dirt Man, make it fit the story line, if you're describing a wild uncontrolled loveless f**k Vagina can sound a bit corny.

I use them all, except pussy, sorry kids when that one repeats itself more than twice I hit the back button, I have to if our Tom cat hears it we have big trouble.

Nothing wrong with cunt, good old English word with many uses.

'Cunt it is a funny thing, it makes a man a fool, it takes away his appetite and wears away his tool' For instance.

I like to invent words for it as I go, the more descriptive and light hearted the better, love chamber, cream pot, bottomless pit.
Same for the rear entry, dung funnel, shit locker, poo chute.

Write it as it feels kids: pops...............

I rarely use anything outside of pussy or quim; I've never found anything else that fits my style. I do think vagina is too...cold, whereas cunt is definitely too harsh for my tastes. But that is just a matter of opinion so feel free to ignore mine.

Pops: Why don't you like pussy? (The word, not the object. Jeez, so immature :D)

Hi

I'm just an English country boy Earl pussy aint a word I grew up with, never heard it until porn started coming in from US.
Just haven't been able to latch on to it as a real descriptive word.

Of course we have to be careful using real old English words and Phrases to avoid confusing the US readers, I'd love to call it a good old fashioned fanny or minge.
One thing I refuse to do however is write in mid Atlantic format I'm affraid they have to put up with arse not Donkey, hehe.

pops....................:D

______

And "quim" for readers in the US is as cold as a witch's tit.

"Cold as a witch's tit".

Before I met my hubby, I had never heard that expression. He had to explain it to me, that since the witches fly in cold wind... Funny.:D

"Vagina" makes me think of a gynecology test.

Though that could be sexy, if it was done by the right doctor...;)

Don't Americans know quim? What's the American equivalent?

Pop: I refuse to use ass as well. It's a matter of principle. When I've been writing from an Americna viewpoint, I have stooped to panties instead of knickers, but I'll never describe my arse as a donkey.

Re: Vagina - too clinical?

It depends on what your story is really about. If it is a flat-out stroke story, then no, don't use it. But if you're trying t portray your characters in a more meaningful way, other than just objects, I'd be more likely to use vagina. In fact, I think I used vagina in my Group Sex story, that's not much more than a stroke story at that, just because i wanted to define the female characters as more than objects. When you start using words like cock, cunt, pussy, etc. basically the slang terms, you tend to create characters that are more objects than people, because the terms lack technical accuracy. Basically, cunt is a stronger term, mostly because it is considered vulgar, and therefore draws attention more to what it refers to, making the center of attention the body part and niether person involved.
In short, if you want characters, cunt and other derogatives are best left out, and vagina is probably your best choice. If you want objects, then cunt and pussy are perfect choices...

I once gave a character the slave name Cunt in a BDSM story, and it really worked out well. So well in fact that I named a male slave Pussy. What I'm saying here is that if it works, use it. Hell, we call men assholes all the time, don't we?
