I thought this could be interesting. A little while back I started a thread about "in-jokes" in your work.

In that thread I mentioned how Lovecraft and Robert Bloch featured "each other" in their stories (and killed each other) as a tribute to each other.

Back last year I was in contact with a fellow incest author "Naughty Misty" she was a huge fan of SWB and "Mark" in particular.

She edited a couple of chapters for me and would always joke how she wished he were real. She was also having some r/l issues and in order to try to make her smile I featured her in a chapter of SWB.

I went out of my way to really have "Mark" tear into her (she liked it rough) and she loved it. I also dedicated the chapter to her.

In the beginning of this year I did the same with another of my editors Sydney Blake. I know Syd still ghosts the threads, but no worries that story(Tales of the Circle Training of Anastasia) has been removed.

In it Syd Blake became erotica author Sydney stone with a pretty close resemblance to the real Syd. In it Syd screws up and is punished by two members of the group.

it also included this crack, just for Syd

“Because apparently you don’t know how to put out,” Mark said. “Just like those useless sluts you write about in those crappy books of yours.” He grunted. “No wonder they’re in the clearance bins.”

She got a big kick out of it and around that time frame another author wrote a story(not published here) about Sydney and I with me submitting to her in a warehouse.

It was all a lot of fun and wondering 1) if anyone else has done and 2) if you were going to do it who would you pick and what would happen to them?

I did the Bonding of Lance Gt and Little Miss Jen. It was a fictional account of us getting together and did okay. I was trying a new way to write each part, but the bot wouldn't accept 3 styles of font, so it didn't come out the way I wanted it to.

I'd do another one with a writer, if the story and such were good.:)

It was done extensively in The Literotica Olympics in 2004 - an Author's (sic) Hangout Chain Story. My chapter - Rowing - was one of the few that did not feature AH Members.

That was before me, but sounds like a blast. I wonder if there would be any interest in doing it again?

I edited my post to add the year - 2004.

I had forgotten that it was so long ago. Many of the names are no longer AH members.

I've only made one attempt to co-author. "Anniversary to Remember". I was to do chapter one and they part two.

I even had to change my original ending to give him a lead in to where he wanted to take his.

he never delivered and it let me with three months of people e-mailing me for the sequel (even though his name was mentioned as being the writer for part two)

I eventually submitted a new version with my original ending and removed anything saying it was part of a series. So not a good experience

The Author's Hangout also did "The Worst Chain Story Ever".

It lived up to its title. Not only was it deliberately bad writing, but it was a bad Chain Story because some chapters were never written, or never completed, and the links between chapters were missing.

If you really want to see how bad we could be, I started it with Chapter 01.

Yeah. we worked out the entire story first and just wrote our parts the way we would in our own styles. I tried this fucked up style of two, first person tellings, as well as a third person narrating. That was why I wanted 3 different fonts. The way it reads now, it gets a little confusing, but in our way, it was perfect. Oh well, best laid plans and all.:D

Colleen Thomas did a great sci-fi story that featured a bunch of the AH members. I'll see if I can find a link.

The Furies

I wrote a story about Mrs. Giggles, the critic, and how I had to call on her and bring some other authors with me so she could be in the center of a gangbang. If we didn't, she would pan our work in her column.

It was a funny story, and even Mrs. Giggles got a kick out of it. :)

I have a link to it here. http://www.literotica.com/s/mrs-giggles-gang-shag

Ahh, I remember that.. I read a number of those stories, but did not participate

I did a transcript story once that took place entirely here in the Literotica forums. I originally wrote it with several of the characters having names that were homages to some of the forum institutions, e.g. sircuddles (sirhugs), iMap (emap) and trishinutah (jeninflorida). But the story initially got rejected for unspecified reasons. Suspecting that it might be something to do with the character names, I changed the names so that they had no deliberate similarity to any real person (except myself). When I resubmitted the corrected story, it was accepted. So I can only assume that the admins don't like having lit member cameos in other authors' stories.

Why not use this thread to get some consensus going between authors and write another chain story featuring each other? Sounds like fun.

It's certainly got possibilities. I could be up for it if anyone's interested.

Depends on the story and premise.

Maybe I'll freak Cruel2bekind out and write her in as my little sister:D

Thinking back 8 years, I seem to remember that all those mentioned in the various Literotica Olympic stories had explicitly agreed to being included.

That was probably wise, because some of us were mentioned as failing, achieving or experiencing impossible sexual athletic feats.

Thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten all about the Sexual Rode,

I wonder how many people would be game. I imagine the problem is people start out meaning well, but then r/l can get in the way not to mention other projects.

Yeah well, she can make you the victim of a pretty sadistic gay rape.

Wonder if we can get her onboard this writing thing. I'm more than game if we can find around a dozen others.

She can do whatever she wants, its all in fun.

I'm the type that if someone really raked me over the coals I would laugh my ass off.

When I had the comic shop a bunch of my customers got together and gave me a roast for my fortieth birthday. To say I have an abrasive personality is an understatement and man did they unload on me.

It was all good though, a lot of them got me really good.

I don't recall being asked, but I appeared in the chain in the pussy eating event. It didn't bother me, and I rather enjoyed the stories.

There was also a chain a couple of years ago, called "The Literoticacum Murders." I don't know why it was given that odd name, but it was about a series of murders of contenders in the Survivors' Contest that year by a person named Hastings. Those of us who participated wrote about our own deaths.

Someone wrote a story about a bunch of us being Transformers. I can't remember now who wrote the story. Trombonus or Thee Goat Pig, maybe?

Trombonus, a former Lit member and a real Transformers geek, wrote some stories a few years ago wherein Lit members were Transformer characters in a battle of good versus evil robots. All who wished to participate cited what type of transforming robot they wanted to be (I was a Leopard tank) and their screen names were used. It was fun. :D

That's the one! I was something evil.
