User created Toys?

Ok so are there many of you that find the mental creation ond the resulting physical creation of "toys" to be an enjoyment factor of using them?

I like making floggers and paddles. The design and construction actually let my mind wander to what they will be used for. I have sold a few but do it mostly for the variety.

Different weights materials and ways of modiffying the design to make the experiance diffrent new and or better.

I have a flogger my Dear Wife / slave adores as a back massager. If she's got a knot it does better than theropy.

I also like the which is this game, where she has to identify what I am using.

I love making/modifying my own toys and restraints. Hand stitching leather cuffs while watching TV is very relaxing.

I have turned anal toys on a wood lathe. You can develop the perfect size and shape with some trial and error. Use a hard wood sand smooth and finish it with polyurethane. It's smooth as glass.

An interesting variant

Here is an idea for a Dom who already has a sub --- if she breaks the rules and offends you in someway, have her design and build the implement you will use to punish her!

I'm not the originator of this idea; I read it in an late 1970s adult magazine like "Cheri" or something. A sub was charged with making the whip / flogger/ cat-9 tails (or whatever it was) that her Dom would inflict on her when she was done. You can surely imagine what thoughts will be coursing through her mind as it's being made! As the punishment is going down, her mind will dwell on how she could've designed it to be a bit less painful.

Of course, 100 years ago, a errant kid was told to fetch his dad the hickory switch he would use to beat his ass. Same thing; old ideas still have plenty of potential today.
