Dear Americans

Can you please tell the rest of the world, what means "useful arts" ?

Does it mean, you can put that art in a negotiable form?

And how can somebody say that pornography is no useful art?
 
Pornography can be copyrighted. I'm not sure I see your problem--and I'm not going to wade through the court case transcript to try to figure out what your problem is.
 
Speak to us on what you are trying to suggest or ask or give an opinion on. Don't just drop links. I'm not clicking on isolated links and trying to figure out what your issue is.
 
My problem is: sometimes a simple word could mean something totally different than even the best translation can tell.

In this case, it's the word "useful". To me, pornography seems to be useful. To some judges in your country, pornography is obscene, and that's why it's NOT useful.

So that's my question: does "useful" mean something else than "you can use it for whatever" ?
 
OK, so I don't see the relevance (or importance) of that to anything--certainly not copyright. Pornography can be--and is--copyrighted.
 
The second article sees that different...but don't read it, it's a homemade internet nuke.....
