Use of Cupping Sets

I recently bought this cupping set.

i have a fire cupping set, i liked to have a T made on my back (acrossed the shoulders and down the spine) i also liked a line above the pubic line (not sure why i just do)

My suggestion:

Don't play with these in the summer!

A Dom did a scene with me using them last summer on back and front and, while it was fun, they left (shall we say unusual looking) circle marks for SEVERAL weeks and I couldn't wear a bathing suit or use our neighborhood pool without a dark T-shirt and an anti-sunburn excuse. In my neck of the woods, summer swimming weather only lasts maybe 10 weeks so to lose 3 of them....

lilred, Enlighten me please, what is "Firecuping" ? I mean I understand what "Cupping" is but what is fire cupping?

There's 2 ways to do cupping... one is with the vacuume which takes less skill and is a little easier. the other is with fire.
The fire method is done by holding the cup close to the skin and heating up the air inside with a match than quickly placing the cup against the skin. the cooling of the air inside the cup will pull up the skin.
It's actually used in acupuncture.

We used to putz around with some stuff in physics class, you know forming vacuums and stuff and yes we utilized our arms, but if I recall, it wasn't painful. Just weird. Is it the mark that is left on the body....for like a really long time....I guess I just don't see why.

there are many ways of fire cupping, the way discribed above using a candle flame is 1 of the most common. one way we have often done it (i DO NOT advise the method) is to place mini tea candles on the skin, put a ring of lube around the lip of the cups, light the candles let them come to a steady burn than place a cup over each candle. the air in the cup will heat up as the flame uses the O2 and puts it self out. this method calls for NO movement, any movement will cause the melted wax to spill out of the tin cup holding the candle and burn the skin, due to the fact that a suction is created making getting the cup off diffacult and takes enough time for a burn to happen.

fire cupping is alot more dangerous than suction due to the burn factor

suction cupping sets use plastic cups, fire cupping must be done with glass cups

I don't recall cupping having to do with BSDM..
More like a cough remedy when i was a kid in Kiev.

A set of glass cups (made for this purpose) was used to help cure a cough or something similar.

This never left marks or any permanent thing to speak of... it just looks odd at first!

The way I heard of to do it is to have a hot water bath, not to boiling, but very hot, have the cups submerged in it, then take them out, dry them and quickly place them on the skin ... it has similar effects.
