Anybody know of free easy to use encryption software for usb drives. I've used Free OTFE and TrueCrypt.

TrueCrypt requires software to be installed on the computer. I sometimes have to use clients computers and need access to my data. I don't want to have to install software to their computer to use my stick.

Free OTFE is great and they have a portable version that runs from a thumb drive but the fact that OTFE is on the drive decreases plausible deniability.

Other than spending bucks on an encrypted drive like IronKey is there an easy solution?

All flash drives are going to require a program to run on the computer to decrypt information. It's simple logic. You can't decrypt data without a program. Keep in mind typing in your password on an untrusted computer automatically means someone else can access your data. Ironkey is little more than a gimmick.

I much rather encrypt the file. If I am worried about security.
That way I can have multiple passwords for files and even have phonny files to encrypt I hack your drive and I have all your files.

From the developer "This free file encryption software uses a 448 bit Blowfish and 168 bit 3DES encryption algorithms. ABI- CODER allows you to encrypt files and folders with just a click of the mouse. ABI- CODER also allows you to create self-decrypting files that allow you to send or transfer encrypted files to people that do not have our software installed on their computers. ABI- CODER is extremely easy to use. It even changes the icons of encrypted files allowing you to easily see which files are secured. This program is free and has no limitations."

That program is closed source, and therefore useless for any real security. It could have any number of security holes, or even be intentionally broken. Never use anything but a free open source peer reviewed encryption program.
