Wow, I didn't think anyone else here would remember the Hardy Boys. I inherited a set of them from my uncles, and read them all as a kid.

Also read some Tom Swift novels. "Tom Swift and His Amazing Searchlight!"

Wish I still had them, they would make an interesting re-read, just to see the viewpoints of the past from modern eyes. Always interesting to learn where things and ideas come from.
