I AM PISSED!

Bad enough that the American referee officiating last nights gold medal game between Canada and the US was just about as biased as I have ever seen. The Canadians receiving as many penalties in one game as they received over the course of the entire tournament. I guess maybe countries who feel the need to add the designator "ice" at the front of hockey have to have a "zebra" in their pocket.

But what I am really and truly FUCKING IRATE about is this. After the game we here in the great white north learn that the US womens team has kept the Canadian flag on the floor of their dressing room all through this tournament! Kicking it and walking across it! Real classy bunch of skanks you guys got there!

If Canadians did that with "Old Glory" we would be at best villified, at worst I would wake up watching the 82nd Airborne darkening the skies over Ottawa.

I think Haley Wickenheiser said it best "The Americans have kept our flag on the floor of their room for a week ...... perhaps they would like us to sign it for them now!!"

While I may agree that putting the flag of any nation on the floor is disrespectful, the American women did not walk on it. They were expressly forbidden from doing so.
