Thursday, 2 January 2025: Jennifer Gonzalez-Colon is officially inaugurated as the 15th Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico today, which is taking place on the grounds of the Capitol Building in downtown San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The 19 Cannon Salute will be fired by the Puerto Rico Army National Guard followed by flyover from the Puerto Rico Air National Guard, then Governor Gonzalez will deliver her Inaugural Address.

PS: Gonzalez is a member of the PNP as is her predecessor, former Puerto Rico Governor Pedro Pierluisi, who lost the PNP primary by double digits (56% to 43%) on 2 June 2024, thereby flipping the Governorship to the Republicans.

*(American Samoa): Incoming American Samoa Governor Pula Nikolao Pula will be inaugurated as the 9th Governor of American Samoa on Friday, 3 January 2025.

*(Missouri): Outgoing Missouri Lieutenant Governor and incoming Governor Michael Leo Kehoe will be inaugurated as the Show Me State's 58th Governor on Monday, 13 January 2025.

*(Montana): Montana Governor Gregory Richard Gianforte will be inaugurated for a second and final four-year term as the Big Sky Country's 25th Governor on Monday, 6 January 2025.

*(New Hampshire): Incoming New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ann Ayotte will be inaugurated as the Granite State's 83rd Governor on Wednesday, 8 January 2025.

*(North Carolina): North Carolina Governor Joshua Harold Stein was inaugurated as the Tar Heel State's 76th Governor and will hold a public Inauguration Ceremony on Saturday, 11 January 2025.

*(North Dakota): North Dakota Governor Kelly Michael Armstrong was inaugurated as the Peace Garden State's 34th Governor on 15 December 2024.

*(Utah): Utah Governor Spencer James Cox will be inaugurated for a second and likely final four-year term as the Beehive State's 18th Governor on Wednesday, 8 January 2025. Cox isn't expected to seek reelection in 2028.

*(Vermont): Vermont Governor Phillip Brian Scott will be inaugurated for a fifth two-year term as the Green Mountain State's 82nd Governor on Thursday, 9 January 2025.
