The United States completed its first prisoner swap with Red China in years this morning.
Who the US received from China:
Who the US repatriated to China:
As part of the prisoner swap, the US State Department agreed to lower the travel advisory threat level to China down to “exercise increased caution” from the higher “reconsider travel”.
Who the US received from China:
- Mark Swidan, dumbass with a suspended death sentence for smuggling drugs into China
- Kai Li, US citizen being held on unspecified "espionage" charges
- John Leung, another US citizen being held on unspecified "espionage" charges
Who the US repatriated to China:
- Ji Chaoqun, convicted of espionage. He received a doctoral degree from Illinois and enlisted in the US Army Reserves under a 2017 Trump initiative designed to expedite US citizenship for those with "critical skills" (Ji was trained as a linguist interpreter - bilingual Mandarin/English). He received dossiers from China intelligence agencies to attempt to blackmail other Chinese individuals into spying for China
- Xu Yanjun, Chaogun's 'handler', a known Chinese Intelligence officer previously caught in Belgium
- Jin Shanlin, 26 year old PhD student at Southern Methodist University, convicted of running a child molestation video Peer-to-peer node on his laptop, specializing in males molesting infants and toddlers. (He claimed in his defense that he only had "14 and up" pictures...shades of Ted Nugent!). Jin is the son of a high ranking Communist party official and was the primary reason that China initiated prisoner swap talks.
