I would like to add an avatar to my profile but when I select "edit avatar" it gives me no such option. I'd be appreciative of anyone who might have some helpful advice in this regard. Thank you.

Yeah, I have the similar problem, I changed my user name from Thrity to Thirty, since Thrity was a typo, so, I have to wait a little while before I get back my avatar.

I thought Thrity was intentional, and was curious about how you came by it; I was sure there was an interesting story in there somewhere! :p

Ha, not intentional, it was just a typo. What I want was Thirty. I still couldn't believe I should have made such mistake.

Yeah, but look at it this way. Your English is better than most Americans' Chinese. :)

If the Lit forums are using the recent (3.5.3) version of vBulletin, the admins should be able to merge your thRIty user with the thIRty one. Maybe ask them and see if they can/will do that for you.

Thirty's English is better than many Americans' English, too.

Thank you, Eilan! Thank you, SweetFrika. What you said means a lot to me.

I love English language very much, I take any chances to practice my oral and written English. I'm working with an American owned company in China, all of our emails are written in English. I also go to the English corner in my city almost every Sunday. I can "read" (not only look up) dictionaries for like one hour.
Languages are part of cultures, the more I learn, the more I understand our life.

It's my dream that I can someday speak English as good as a native English speaker does, I have to long way to go! I hope I have more chances to learn from you here in this BBS.
