Is it just me or does that graphic look like a fax that was scanned in 1996. I thought it might be fun to upgrade it for the 21st century. Here's the original along with my version.

I do:
Guys over 40 lusting over girls in their early 20's… And the only user starting threads to also celebrate women over the age of 28 was BusyBody!!
And often, the same men whinge and whine about feminists (that they complain about women being objectified).

Nah. Keep it classic and grass-roots grungy. Too polished and slick looks fake. Also, the fuzzy ambiguity of the features and body is more inclusive than using something specifically Playboy bleached blonde.

It's like how the old Suicide Girls logo was much better than the upgrade, IMO.

The original looks like it was made with this old app that converted bitmapped graphics into vector art. That's why it has that crunchy/grung look. The new SG logo looks like they commissioned an actual illustrator to draw something from scratch. Most likely to have something high res that could be used for t-shirts.

WTF does that have anything to do with upgrading a graphic of a nude woman?

What age do you think a man would be, when a women in the peak of her child-bearing years suddenly ceases to be attractive and lust-worthy?

I'm not saying it is necessarily wise or fruitful to chase them, but lust doesn't die until one's libido does, if then. A man's eyes don't age.

I know that. And I wouldn't masturbate over a bald & fat guy, either.
But I captured your guys attention this time, didn't I?:p

I like the idea of an upgrade. You're right Mello_SixtyNine, the current one does look like a fax scanned in 1996. Maybe even 1995. :p
For that matter the whole website is very Web 1.0, hosted-out-of-a-fifty-year-old-living-in-his-parent's-basement-type aesthetic. Could do with a redesign, if anyone could be bothered.

Your version is pretty damn spot on as far as upgrade goes and not a complete overhaul.

Well done.

btw, I personally tend to agree with Zumi. A bit more mystery in the fuzzy one, and it's also more feminine. Moreover, the body on the right is a bit too toned and perfect, a slight imperfection here and there would make it a bit more real and alluring, perhaps. So… something in between would be better? Nevertheless, mine being a female pov.

I don't intend to highjack the thread (my last post, everybody, sorry)

But I just Love those sort of art/graphics. What is that called or could you provide a link? Many thanks
Btw this is in a similar line you might like it, too:

I found it just by typing "woman silhouette" plus some other terms into google images, lol. Just having "silhouette" in there gives lots of similar results.

Sweet video by the way. :)

I am a fan of the current Lit lady. I think the silhouette is beautiful and inclusive. I wouldn't like to see it changed to a more graphic or defined version.

I thought that was the whole idea. The current image reminds me of ASCII art or dot matrix art, from back in the day when computers couldn't do any better. The main focus of Literotica is text, after all.

This.

I personally liked the ones provided by MNGuy (minus the nipples, so that both genders & the more conservative ppl.could come to an agreement)

ADDIT:
I also liked this type of drawings (but with full body image, of course):

http://www.wallconvert.com/wallpapers/vector/woman-silhouette-11900.html

(In order to convey the message that erotic literature can also be viewed as a form of art rather than -as some people seem to think- mere porn?
At the same time, the suggestion of full body nudity could also appease those who are only interested in porn)

Back in the 1960s I was managing an IBM 1401 mainframe system. One of the party tricks for visitors was to get it to print a succession of pages showing a woman stripping. She gets down to her bra and panties, removes the bra and the last sheet covers her hips with a slogan - "Learn to program with IBM and you can finish the strip".

One of the other tricks was to place a transistor radio, switched off, on a certain part of the main CPU. We ran a program that played "Rule Britannia" by induction to the radio's speaker.

One of the first things I did was to copy and modify that programme to play "Colonel Bogey". Later versions included the Beatles "Love Me Do", and "Cymru Fach".

Back then was also the days of dialup and low monitor resolution.

Image quality was sacrificed for faster loading.

The old graphic is only 4372 bytes at 125 X 341 pixels.

I was surprised how small it actually is when I brought it into photoshop. It's about an inch. It's blown up 4-5 times on the Literotica homepage.
