Update.....

I just wanted to let everyone know I am doing much better. Learning to manage my Bipolar has been difficult at times and impossible others. The current meds seem to be working well. I am currently on Zyprexa, and Buspar plus a sleeping pill at night. My visits to the counsoler and phsycologist have been very instrumental in helping me to adapt.

Take care, I'll be in more often now that things are settling in.

Good for you...stay healthy and well. Also, do yourself one enourmous favor, even though right now you don't foresee this as an issue: do not stop taking your meds no matter how much "better" you feel, or because you crave the natural high you get during an upswing.

The best advice one could give!! I did this a few times early on in my medicine journey. The meds aren't a cure I learned. Just like insulin does not cure a diabetic. I learned the hard way.
