I'm moved in with my boyfriend and his family now. I had come over to Victoria on THursday morning to see him and to go jobhunting, and I got a phone call here on Saturday, asking me to come in for an interview in a few weeks. I haven't found a job, but things look good from where I stand, as far as working goes. So yesterday, my honey and I decided (after talking to his parents), that me moving over right away would be the best idea. And we took the earliest ferry we could catch, showed up to surprise my dad for his birthday (which was yesterday), took him for dinner, and then started packing me up. We took the 3:00 ferry today, and now I'm here, the boxes are set up in his room, and tomorrow, I do a top-to-bottom cleaning of his suite, and I unpack. I'm so happy! I also wrote instructions of what's to be done with the money I acquired, and I sent the letter and cheque to my personal banker, and she will work with my dad on that, but it's still my account. SO things with money are working out alright, as well. My mother knows that I'm over here, and agrees it's best for me (she's in ontario on business until tomorrow night) (she and I talked last night), and things are working out. I'm happy. :)
And I can't wait for school to start! I got a letter from the university advising me that I've been doing wonderfully, and asking me to take the honours program in my field of study! YAY ME! I'm SO SO HAPPY!

I FEEL GOOD!
I KNEW THAT I WOULD!

I am very, very happy to read your positive report. I hope your Mom and dad will come to understand and accept your decision.

My most heartfelt blessings to your new life, sweetheart:heart:

This is great news, Vix. Your happiness just comes right through your post, and I'm happy for you. You speak with the confidence and assurance of having made the right decision, and I wish you all the best.

And congratulations on the news about school!

Following your heart is sometimes the only thing you can do. Congrats!

Chele, when Vixen posted about her situation on another thread, you voiced some pretty strong reservations about her moving to Victoria, as I recall. Your kind good wishes to her, now that she has made her decision, show what a very gracious and classy lady you are:rose:

I agree, Chele, thank you for your support. *happy sigh* It's only been a day, but things feel right. And let's all just hope that I don't make him want to kill me by the end of the summer! LOL.

*Blushing* Thank you, CarolineOh. But, actually, it was Vix herself who stepped up to the plate and simply reaffirmed my belief that the younger generation really do know how to think logically and work things out.

*bows my head in thanks*
THank you, Chele. Sometimes I wonder if I know what the hell I'm doing. And then I remember that sometimes not knowing is better than knowing. It scares me to be moved over here with him, cus in my darker moments, I wonder if he'll get sick of me. But then I have faith in us, and I hope that things will work out. Kinda sucks that I'll be moving out (into Residence at the uni) on the day of our one-year anniversary. :) But we'll figure something special out. Just cross your fingers and hope for the best!
