I'm am hereby tendering my resignation ( at least temporary) from posting to the Lit AH.

I haven't had time to post much in the last few weeks and it's only gonna get worse, so I wanted to say so long to all the friends I've made on the board and to those who would care to miss me, even a little.

We are trying to buy a new house and with the holidays coming, the kids extra curricular activities, health problems and so much on my plate I thought it only fair to take a break and not leave people wondering where I had disappeared to.

I will miss everyone and their snappy, witty replies. I hope for all the best for you all.

I hope to be back by Feburary, if everything has settled down by then.

Hello everyone.....Have you missed me?

I wish I was here to say that I am back from my time away to stay, however I am giving an update.

I was hoping to be back by Feburary but it's looking like I really don't know when I'll be back. I miss everyone so much.

The house hunting has been slow going and is actually coming to a halt for now. Christmas was terrific, my sister came home from Minnesota and stayed with me for a week. We had a great time catching up(it had been since Christmas before that we last saw each other).

Now for the reason for my non Febuary return. I had mentioned in this post that health problems were one reason for my time away. I have been in and out of the Doctors office for a few months now and yesterday I got the news that I had been praying NOT to get. Seems that I have been dianosed with cervical and uterine cancer and have to have a hysterectomy. All test have not yet been done to determine if it has spread to any where else in my body but I'm keeping the faith that it has not and that this surgury will take care of it. I've been through this before to a degree, had cervical cancer 12 years ago and had a surgury to get rid of it. But as luck would have it, it has reared it's ugly head once more. I'll have the hysterectomy and possibly a round of internal radiation and be good as new


I just wanted to give an update to friends and acquaintances since it will most likely be several more months before I can be back here and in full swing. I'm not looking for sympathy from anyone, although prayers are welcome, just wanted to say Hi and let you all know what was going on.


Can't wait to be back for good
