Unregistered - Bashing - Post

The first thing that you want to do in the case of a bashing post is to defend the person to whom the bash is directed....This is normal and I have done it in the past.

But as I can see it is the reaction that the person is looking for it feeds his/her passion.

So from now on if a person wishes to bash another Lit member by starting a post to do just that, I am not going to reply to that post. But I am going to respond to the person being bashed ...if I feel need to do so...by PM to show my support for the member.

This I feel will limit the times I have to view the post on page one of the board and not give the unregistered guest his/her day of glory.

This is my view ....like it or not

That is a very good idea

I like your idea. Especially since both my honey and I have been bashed by rude and nasty trolls. I have always felt as you do, but seemed to have fallen in the "human nature" pattern of fighting back when I feel someone is attacking me or loved ones--even with words.

Especially since I was defensive with someone whom thru my honey's eyes I can see meant no disrespect. I will follow your example and ignore all trolls and let them spew their insults on deaf ears. And be there for the wonderful people they are envious of and feel the need to try to bring down to their level.

Kudos for your mature look at such immature people.
