I've had some draft submissions sitting around with no action for quite a while. One of my submissions has been there for more than a month. I've tried contacting the Webmaster via the link, but I don't know any other way to find out why my submissions are sitting idle. Hence, this post. If there's something going on, that's fine. I'd just like to have some confirmation that it's being worked on.

As it stands, I have three chapters submitted that are all still marked as "draft," so they're not rejects (to my knowledge). If anyone has any info, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

MB

I had one sit over a week and realized I had opened it up and had not saved and hit publish. Just a thought.

Well, That's Embarrassing

So, apparently after posting about 18 chapters of two different stories, I forgot how to completely submit my chapters. Following LuciousLadyMary's advice, I checked and sure enough, they were in "draft" mode, not "pending" mode. That's something I should have noticed.

I hereby withdraw most of the criticism I've leveled at the site's operators (in my head, of course). I still wish I'd gotten some response to my email inquiries, but problem solved.

Thanks Mary!

The processing load on the site editor is huge, and I'm afraid she doesn't have time to respond to every PM, nor emails (if emails even get read).

The way Lit works is via all of the forum elves, where folk raise queries and somebody will have the answer - in this case, to your chagrin, the difference between "Draft" and "Pending".

But, you have a good colour in your name, so you can't be a complete numpty :).

I've been there too! It happens.

P.S. ignore the image I'm attaching, I just need to change my signature :)
