Unlikely Class Partners (closed for HelenUK)

Jon is 21 years old, had played school football for as long as he could remember. His high-school pulled kids from 4 local farm towns, so he was taught to work and play hard while keeping it with in control. Sadly this did not leave him much for going out. Jon did get some of the basic classes done late at night from the local community college, but this is his first year getting away from the family farm. He is staying in a dorm while attending a university for the first time in a city 300 miles away from where he grew up. Jon stands 5'10 200 pounds build firm of muscle from sports and doing hard labor on the farm. Jon knew he wasn't the best player on the college team, so he didn't get much game time in. He was glad to do his part on the practice squad tho. Jon hopes with doing a college program on business management, this will help him open up a small gym to help folks train in a healthy way with out getting muscle bound like the guys you see doing crazy stuff like pulling a semi. If Jon is given a task he can be very out going, but on his own he is very shy. Jon was raised to show respect, put your heart into what your doing and enjoy the outcome. For the first time Jon is on his own, where he gets to make his own way in this crazy time for most kids to discover them self's, tho Jon knows he wont be anywhere near as wild as what folks say college kids are like.

Doris is an only child from a wealthy family. She had passing interest in their estate business which had provided her with an excellent education and all the comforts in life. Her parents though were now ageing and looking to retire whilst she is in her late 40s. Big and bosomy, fun and flirtatious, Doris is confident and somebody who has enjoyed life. There have been men and some women but now perhaps Doris faces her biggest challenge. She is there to take over her parent’s business. She needs some discipline though and education in the art of business management. She has lived off her parents so far in life and now it is going to have to be her turn.

It is true they could sell the business and make money but her dad in particular wants to see it in good hands. He would love his daughter to be successful at it and even better with a husband and children. Her marriage failed though and there are no children. This is probably her last chance to make a real success of her life.

With this background Doris enrols on a university course. As the start date arrives even she would have to admit she is becoming nervous. Going back to study at her age is going to be a real challenge but she has hopes that with her experience of life that she will pull through.

The tables in the room has two chairs to each table. Jon sits at the table nearest to the door as he got there a bit early and pulls out a book on the silabis of what kind of things the class will cover. Most of the classmates are bit older then him. Jon takes a shot in the dark as they are 28-30ish. They seam to give Jon's table a wide birth. Jon dosen't mind re-reading what the class will cover tho he wonders if he will be the odd one out, and have to work alone, and is willing to do what he must.

Doris doesn't want to be early and wait around. She looks to time her arrival to perfection but the lecturer is in early and as she arrives she does not want to fuss or be noticed so she grabs a chair at the first table near the door and sinks into it. She looks to her left at who looks to be a very young looking guy to whom she says 'hi, there, you look busy already'

Doris has shoulder length brown hair, black plastic framed glasses, earrings and necklace to match, a woollen top with blouse under which does nothing to hide the rise and fall of her bosom. Below the waist she wears thin cotton cream trousers and trainers.

Jon smiles and looks over at Doris as he closes the book. Jon says "Hello, I am Jon. I was just re-reading the info for the class in the down time." Jon has brown hair that is just long enough to cover the fingers with his blue eyes. Jon asks "Uh what is your name?"

Jon is glad that his partner is older so they will be more into the class work rather then partying like most kids are. Jon kinda has a hunch tho that anyone in the class is past the party stage.

'Well pleased to meet you Jon, I'm Doris and feeling rather old at the moment. Guess I will get used to it' Doris says as she looks around the room reckoning that everybody there is a good bit younger than herself.

She adds 'good idea to look at the class info though. You must be looking forward to this?

'Hey not looking for your life history though, maybe we can chat over a coffee later if you fancy it'

Jon lightly chuckles as Doris says " feeling rather old at the moment" her saying that wasn't funny in its self. It was well she had a few years on the classmates and Jon is younger then them by about the same gap. Same boat just other ends of the scale. Jon has the feeling they look at him as some kid, the baby of the room so to speak. As Doris says "Guess I will get used to it" Jon nods in agreement and says with a sigh "Ya looks like we both will have to get used to being the odd ones out, with everyone looking to be good i don't know 10 years or so on me... Jon listens to her as she says "'good idea to look at the class info though. You must be looking forward to this?" Jon nods and says "Sure am, I will be chasing a dream that I could reach realistically, what about are? I mean are you taking this as a stepping stone or is this a key to a dream for you? Doris says " 'Hey not looking for your life history though, maybe we can chat over a coffee later if you fancy it' Jon sighs and says " I got class so I cant do lunch, but dinner tonight I would love to grab a coffee and a sub."

Jon hopes that she can understand missing lunch but will take the dinner in its place to get to know each other.
