Unknown title name

A couple of months back. I read a story about a gentleman who was cheated on And when he found out he left town and went to a bed and breakfast and got drunk and messed up a room real bad. Once he sobered up he was able to help the bed and breakfast by repairing it because of a lightning strike. He end up dating a couple of different women and end up getting married to a new woman who leaving town to visit family and plane crash and they are supposed to be a part 2 I do not know the name of it. Does this ring a bell for anyone? I believe it was in romance or loving wives.
