Well, brother AJ is gonna have himself a field day.

Over at the University of Missouri today, a contract journalism professor and the director of "Greek Life" roughed up a photojournalist trying to get pictures of a student protest.

Of course, a journalism nabob berating a journalist results in high dudgeon from the lamestream media, who have already called for summary terminations.

The photographer works for the school newspaper, Squiggy.

I taught at Mizzou. Here’s why the events there don’t surprise me

Perhaps on the outside looking in, the events at the University of Missouri appear baffling. They’re not.

I taught there from 1996 to 2008. The recent racist incidents and lackadaisical administration response, which sparked the amazing display of student solidarity, is part and parcel of a long-established pattern.
Long history of racism

Founded in 1839 in a slave state, the University of Missouri, known affectionately as Mizzou, is the state’s flagship, Research 1 campus. But even 100 years later it held fast to the slavery legacy.

In 1936, an African American, Lloyd Gaines, was denied admission to the Law School solely because he was black. Missouri’s constitution, it was argued, called for “separate education of the races.”

Gaines challenged the decision and won in front of the Supreme Court – in fact, the State of Missouri ex rel Gaines v Canada, case is one of the key rulings on the road to the landmark Brown v Board of Education (1954) decision.

In response, the university administration tried to do whatever it could to stop the enrollment of black students, including actually paying the tuition for African Americans to receive an out-of-state education.

Although the US Supreme Court ruled that Gaines had to be admitted, he never stepped foot into the Law School. In one of the great mysteries of the 20th century, Lloyd Gaines simply disappeared.

Irrelevant. All the victims are enrolled at the university and none of them allege the university injured them. What they don't like is the university's compliance with law and the US Constitution. People are pretty much at liberty to say what they want unless its a threat to harm or slander or perjury in a court of law or they commit disorderly conduct. The victims can make disorderly conduct complaints to the university police. My guess is they did and it went no where for lack of evidence. Melissa Click was sacked for assault when she appealed for muscle to remove the school reporter from the common area.

But RACISM is what we call a NOMINALIZATION. It had no legs or heart or fingers. Its an attitude. I can fell lust for you or sympathy or whatever I want. What I cant do is remove you from school grounds nor deny your admission because I don't like niggers. I don't have to like you, tho.

The "racism" seems to be a few isolated instances of little consequence. The most serious was apparently a swastika made of shit that was smeared on a wall. This would be more anti-Jewish than anti-black which, of course, doesn't make it alright.

A few people have been called "The N word." BFD. I wonder how many people have been called honkies or crackers or rednecks or other such slurs.

The inmates are running the asylum.

The University of Missouri has shown us all what happens when the "Occupy Wall Street" crowd comes together with the #BlackLivesMatter movement to effect change.

It's called "FASCISM."

Missouri Lawmaker Don’t Want No Smart Kids Studyin’ Up On Abortion, No Siree

You at least have to give Missouri state Sen. Kurt Schaefer (R-Did We Even Need To Say?) credit for thoroughness and creativity in his efforts to clamp down on all those women who insist on having abortions even though Schaefer knows it’s a sin that makes Jesus cry. While the stupid old courts have so far failed to see the wisdom of allowing states to make all abortions illegal forever, Schaefer has launched a new front in the war on reproductive rights: He wants to prevent a graduate student from completing a dissertation on the effects of Missouri’s 2014 law requiring a 72-hour waiting period for abortions. As far as we can tell, it’s the first time a state legislator has ever tried to stop abortion by directly attacking an individual student’s academic freedom, so Schaefer certainly deserves recognition as a pioneer in the field.

Why do Republicans dominate so many state legislatures?

When Barack Obama took office (back in January of 2009), the Democratic Party was riding high. They owned the White House, the U.S. House, & the U.S. Senate!

But since that time, the Republicans have gained sixty-something seats in the U.S. House, 13-seats in the U.S. Senate, and about a THOUSAND-seats nationwide in state legislatures, not to mention several state governorships (including another one on Tuesday in Kentucky!)

Why does the G.O.P. dominate out nation's legislative branch at levels not seen since the 1920's?

Here's my own three-word answer: BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA!

The man has been a DISASTER for his party, including in Missouri, where these recent incidents will only reinforce what Obama has inflicted on America and on Democrats in all fifty states! The man has a record of failure, both domestically and abroad.

But if you point this out to Obama supporters they will reply with: "what about Bush?" They will also be quick to blame climate change and the Confederate flag. And the first Tuesday of November, 2016 is now less than a year away!

:D

Nothing special will happen on the first Tuesday of Nov. 2016. Election day will be on Nov. 8, which is the second Tuesday, but is the Tuesday following the first Monday. http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/?country=1&year=2016
