It was a warm August day and the sun was beating down on campus as all the new freshmen were arriving on campus for the first time. The campus was abuzz with the sound of trunks being dragged across sidewalks, the frantic speech of new students trying to figure out where to go or what to do, and the constant shouting of those helping organize the new students.
Ben Harkens leaned against a tree taking a break from helping freshmen getting their stuff into their rooms. He was one of the many resident assistants in Hawk Hall. Sweat ran from his forehead and he was breathing hard against the tree. Despite looking out of shape at the moment he was actually pretty muscular, his tee shirt clinging to his muscled arms and chest. His long blond hair was tied back in a ponytail and his blue eyes looked blankly down at the grass as he tried to catch is breath. He started a little as he heard a voice behind him.
