Ooops.....We suck because we aren't ranked #1 in Health care for the folks.

I guess the Party of No likes it this way.

The U.S. health system spends a higher portion of its gross domestic product than any other country but ranks 37 out of 191 countries according to its performance, the report finds. The United Kingdom, which spends just six percent of GDP on health services, ranks 18 th . How bad do you gotta be to be ranked lower than the Congo? For fucks sake. Remind me not to ever go to Myanmar and Central African Republic.

This isn't a list of who provides the best care, dipshit.

You're wrong.

The World Health Organization has carried out the first ever analysis of the world's health systems. Using five performance indicators to measure health systems in 191 member states, it finds that France provides the best overall health care followed among major countries by Italy, Spain, Oman, Austria and Japan.

That's nice except that in your OP you said the list was based on who spent the highest percentage of their GDP which has nothing to do with actual care.
Also the WHO list is 10 years old.

9 years.....Do you think we would be higher on the list these days?

I bet we would be a lot lower due to the unemployment rate, economy, and increase in population combined with health care costs gowing exponentially.

Probably rank 50th in all actuality.

You may also want to use some of your limited brain power to understand the performance indicators and some of the societal differences that bring the US' rankings down.

Also, if these other countries are so, so wonderful, why don't you leave crybaby? What are you waiting for? (balls?)

such rage you exhibit

That is because he saw a blackman with an "assualt' rifle stand up and express his 1st and 2nd amendment rights, not towing the Democratic party line, and it intimidated him so much and filled him with such anger because deep down he knows he is still a PATHETIC RACIST COWARD.

I dont care about all that.

I'm just pissed off that every Nation we either defeated or helped in WWII can have high speed rail, and we can't.

Yeah, rail isn't suited to big countries, cars are much more specced for that.

Jesus, did corporate America buy your entire education system in the fifties or something?

Riiiight. Five hundred people in five hundred cars paying OPEC prices for petrol is cheaper than the train.

Tell me, do you believe that the moon is made of green cheese, too?

Never let the facts get in the way....it would cost $50 million a mile on average to build. A 250-mile system would cost $12.5 billion and 10 systems, $125 billion. This form of transportation is subsidized. In a country where 140 million people go to work every day, our Amtrak has 78,000 daily passengers.

Also, a typical trip is subsidized by about $50. Its not cost efficient and benefits meager besides Amtrak is bleeding money, much like other goverment programs.

health care anyone??

Seems that way.

I of course only went to school to pick up my messages so I didn't fall into that trap.
