Thought I would start a thread for those that appreciate a good tattoo. Whether you have one yourself, want one, or just admire those that have them, feel free to join in. I know I an insanely attracted to girls with a bit of tasteful ink, but then certain designs put me off.

Tell us what you have, what you want and what you love. Or even better show us.

I don't have any tattoos although I have thought seriously about getting one for a little while now. Mostly likely a Latin phrase on the inside of my wrist.

I'm similar to you in liking a girl with a tasteful tattoo but I'm not keen on sleeves or as an example the tattoo Cheryl Cole has on her thigh.

Girl at work has one on her wrist that she designed herself; an interlinking floral chain which is delicate and classy. Not something I have a pic of to share unfortunately. I'll have a ponder about what celebrities I've seen that I've liked and might be able to find photos of.

I love me some ink... hate the pain but love the product . I currently have eight...don't know when I will get the itch to get another. . They are memorials, they are reminders, they are inside jokes to myself. They are beautiful but not demure...thanks for the thread! I find tattoos very sexy.

All of mine mean something to me. I don't think I am the type to randomly get a tattoo, has to be lots of planning and thought involved

My Mother told me when I joined the Navy that she wouldn't let me in her house if I was wearing a silk jacket with a dragon on it ( weird) or ink on my body. I drew up a dozen or so tribal designs and she found them in a photo album when I was home on leave one time. Mothers always know what's going on and pointing to one of the designs that I had stored in the album, she said "That one." The following week I was back in San Diego getting it done. Mom approved. LOL

I have a half sleeve on my right arm. It's all Celtic and colorfull. Took me 4 sittings to get done. I'll try to post pics. Thank you for the thread. Great idea.

As far as tats on guys, sure I find them somewhat appealing, however it's not on my list of must haves for a partner.

Greetings from a fellow Aussie.

I have 6, and I want a 7th. Each tattoo is significant, and means something to me. I know what I want for my next tattoo but I can't get it right on paper.

I have two- A tribal tree of life between my shoulder blades and the other is the rest of my back- all flowers done in black.

My third will be started on the 27th. It's going to cover most of my right thigh: Gray background, red poppies, hummingbird and butterflies in blues.

7 currently:two celtic moons on right arm, comedy and tragedy masks on right arm, Mandarin symbol of Dragon on left inside forearm (year I was born '76) Serpentine Wryvern on outside left forearm,
Wedding band with wife's initials on left ring finger, Battle axe with Mandarin symbol of warrior on right outside calf,,,,, but have many,MANY more planned!
