Yes, I'm beginning to become concerned at this point. I can only hope that, given his relatively close proximity to NYC, Unit555 might be assisting with rescue efforts in some way.

I have yet to hear from my friend. I expected to when the stock market opened as he is a broker in New York. Now, I am worried.

However, keep in mind that our friends may be with their families and not able to be on line. One can hope. (and pray hard!)

Thanks for your thoughts and concerns. I was in Brooklyn when everything happened and had the misfortune of watching the towers fall. Since I was at an emergency medicine conference we were asked to set up a triage station near the WTC to care for any overflow of casualties. Unfortunately we saw very few survivors. In 14 years of service I have never seen anything like it. I am glad to be home. Hopefully some time on the SRP will be theraputic.
